I'm trying to create my own Single Player RPG style game, but I'm having trouble finding a lot of info... Do you know of any tutorials for creating a game like this?
Dude this is already addicting.
Without voice-overs.
Oh god.
I liked it, good micro exercise as well as a bit of strategy.
It's frustrating because of localization the cutscene are really boring, nothing happening for me.
But what was really more frustrating was to die 3 times to the ultra and have to start over again (and endure the cut-scene that can't be skipped). I can definately beat it, so difficulty is fine, but what about a save before this big fight?
Thank you very much for the feedback so far! Please give alpha version 2 a test.
I think the medic should be able to set Heal to autocast if possible and another thing I ran into was when I lost it when straight to the main menu and didn't give an option to retry or not. I'm looking forward to see how this turns out.
When you go into the secret area in the corner when you fight the ultralisk, it forces you into a cut scene and the lisk will kill someone ending the game.
Lauren will be able to heal herself in the future. Also, Brontes wil land on strategic positions as you progress through the map. I do have to work on balance as it's probably too easy right now.
Thanks a lot for your feedback!!!
Interesting so far. Overall it's probably too easy but that's just my opinion.
Medic not being able to heal them self is pretty annoying, even if you decide not to let them do so at least give them a passive 1 or 2 HP regen.
A way to drop pod units to your group rather than only being able to come out of at the ship would be invaluable once the map gets any larger. (same spell restrictions as MULE, unlimited range but requires line of sight?)
Overall the project seems interesting and I will definitely follow it.
