Theres no introduction needed for this one :) Top-down replica of the level with the closest terrain matching I could get with the limited tileset. This map has one purpose, to have some fun with your friends :). Not meant for competitive play, although I tweaked around a bit with the mineral locations to give fairness to each spawn point. I hope you enjoy it. Be sure to yell "BOOM HEADSHOT" sometime during your game. It might make the other person go "ok...." but it will be worth it, I assure you.
The map is playable 1vs1 but may be used for any custom maps you might think of, who knows eh? Throw me some credits for the original design and let me know how it goes :) Thanks.

-Huge visual improvements to bombsites and spawn areas to match the source version of the game. (barrels/trees/crates)

Patch your welcome to use the map, or copy terrain off of it. This was simply practice for me for transposing terrain off of still images.

just had the same idea combined with a counter-strike mod for it but this is very nice!
Keeping the melee aspect just for kicks. (who knows when u and a friend just wanna mess around). Already had a few people pm me about adding 3rd person. Im almost done a similar map that id feel be better for that :)

obviously a standard melee game is imbalanced on this map. but if u can mod it to be 3rd/1st person hero shooter.
but i was thinking what if u combined the two? u can have a nexus/base at the starting location, where u can make probes and with the money u can buy little upgrades or weapons, and raiding thebase and hurting the economy might give you and advantage? idk hwo it would work out, just a concept being thrown out there.

I think the way its set up, even air units must fly within the map boundaries, the same boundaries as in counter strike... minus "noclip" lol.
