Bubbles' Tower Defense
Turret defense based on one of my favorites in sc1, made by someone other than me. Maul's Tower Defense gave me the idea for space elevation like that.

Just letting you know that i found the way to make the SCV's invulnerable... on another forum lol
Anyways... Credit to Im_On_56k from the other site for explaining that...
"To make a unit invulnerable in the data editor go to your unit and find the field Unit - Flags. Check off Invulnerable. "
not sure of the way to do it after the unit's been spawned / built...(if you wanted to apply it to the towers or whatnot)

Why does noone read the notes when they download the file? TT
I have not balance-tested yet, and therefore none of the waves (except 1-5 and boss 1) have their healths/speeds/armors changed from the unit's normal numbers
also, the chain tower doesnt attack because i've yet to find a tutorial for making a chain weapon (with an archon weapon). Therefore, there is no range indicator (have to link it to a wep), and therefore upgrading doesnt change anything except the name
Sippity sup. This game is high quality but waaay to easy. Like Cybram said before... Way too easy in this alpha. I found no bugs though, but the chain tower doesn't seem to attack. So.. Yeh.

oh my gosh actual feedback! :D Firstly let me say there is a VERY updated version that i'm going to upload tonight (when i'm done adding a few more things, so i dont upload then immediately add/fix more things)
-i just widened the terrain a little, so... (5 minutes later) stacking is now undone -pathing issues should be fixed in the next version -read the list when you download the file xD The RapidFire tower damage is changed so i can quickly go through levels. It's changed back in the next version -What? I was not aware of the range tower thing! (goes and checks) Oh hey look at that lol.. How do you scale a unit..? -The waves didnt have any changed health in that version. In the current version, levels 1-5 and boss 1 have different health, but other than that ive done no balance testing yet. And now those 6 waves will probably be way off too. Balancing comes AFTER features and bugs :) -how do you make a unit invincible? I removed the tank's splash damage in the new version, which was the only thing that could hurt the scv. The scv's cant attack and all towers only attack air (ground units in waves are changed to air) -I'll increase the timer before the first wave

First off: The phrase "I know this is an alpha but still" is not a free pass to ridicule the mapmaker anyways.

Removing tank's ground-splash is on the list. I have no earthly idea how to make units invincible (i thought that was only possible in sc1). I also have awesome builders coming after everything is finished
glad you like it! I'm just hoping i can severely limit the normal patrol distance available (and allow him to fire while moving).
P.S. What exactly entitles a game to be in Alpha? I know beta is when you have everything done, but youre still bug- and balance-testing

you've made it clear that this map is in development, and not ready to be played yet. don't listen to them.
i made an account here just to give you a helpful comment.
the scv needs to be invincible. my tank tower destroyed my scv and i was unable to continue playing. that is something that you should look in to resolving before the game moves out of alpha phase
also i love the hellion "mobile tower" it's sweet
come on guys, i started this FOUR DAYS ago. i opened the EDITOR four days ago. the only reason i uploaded a file at all was because someone needed a copy and i didnt see how to attatch a file in a PM. Unless this happens again, i'm not going to upload until I add all the features and fix all the bugs.

Besides, before starting this i had never touched the map editor, so i'm still learning xD Statedit 4 days ago. Two of these 4 days of production have been 10AM to 1AM working on it lol :P If you wanna help, youre more than welcome to!
lol, you have 2000 minerals to build with.... A tower that has 500 damage costs 20.... You can build how many towers you wany at the same location.... And the bosses have all less that 500 hp.... I know this is pre alpha but still :P
