Hi, I've created a map called Desert Survival, I've taken ideas from the WC3 map called fortress survival.
I have worked quite a lot on this map, but I've run out of steam, and I'm spending my time doing other things now.
The map is playable, and there are much work put into triggers and custom units But as I've said, it's not finished and I'm
Probably not going to work anymore on this.
Anyway, I would like to be able to play a SCII custom game like the one I intended to create, and I would hate if all the time and effort
I have put into this map would have been for nothing.
Therefore I want to give it away to anyone willing to continue working on it :)
I don't have any demands other than if you publish the map you could give me some sort of credit :P
I don't know if there is a way to attach the map to this thread, but if you PM me I can send you the map.
Feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them :D
Hi, Ive made an upgrade that starts off with 0 charges, and another upgrade that "Upgrades: Info - Charge - Count (Start) add 3".
But when i upgrade, it does not gain more charges :(
I think this is because of the "Count (Start)", but i cant find any other way to add charges through upgrades :/
Does any one know how to do this, or do i have to use triggers?
Any help would be greatly apprechiated :)
Btw, is there an easy way to rotate the building to face the unit that its repairing?
I tried using a "turret" but that did not do much, do i have to link the repair to the "turret" somehow?
Hi, im trying to add a repair ability to a building, but it wont repair anything ingame.
I've set the range of the spell to 2 (it should only repair building that are close), and i cant see any other things that could be wrong.
But im probably wrong on that point, so does anyone know how to fix repair to work for a building?
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Hi, I still have the issue that the charges wont recharge...
I've done what you wrote, but the ability still wont recharge :C
Help would be appreciated :)
Thx for the help :)
I've done everything up to the point of adding the mapfiles, I've added ComponentList.SC2Components, Triggers and Triggers.version.
But when i try and open the map it says "Unable to open archive (Core: unexpected fatal error)"
Does anyone know what i should do?
Well, I cant say i know how to use the mpq editor, but it seems to need the map on the computer for it to be able to work.
My problem is that i dont have the map on my computer, i need to download it from bnet and continue working on it from there :/
Thx anyway :)
Does anyone know how i can download it from bnet??
