The Planetary Boss Fortress
You play as a Dark Templar sent to destroy the Planetary Fortress of Bosses!
Supports WASD movement and move click attack and mouse look
Left Click is attack, right click summons 6 broodlings to assist you and 1 key summons a healer support unit

- Fixed issue with camera during opening cinematic
- Fixed a whole lot of boss bugs! Boss should be 99% bug free

- Increased Broodling lifetime to 1 minute
- Increased spawn Broodlings cooldown to 10 seconds

- Set both the healing unit and broodlings priority levels to 22
- Set Dark Templars priority level to 21
- Increaed Dark Templars overall hit points to 2000

- Removed natural health regeneration, stay close to that healer ;)
- Should no longer be attackable from upper floor units during Big Bad fight
- Added new story elements when engaging bosses, it will only get better from here folks the story is written just have to tell it. I know everyone will like the conclusion.

- FINAL BOSS ADDED! The conclusion to what happens after you defeat the Queen has been added, even more story will be added later... enoy this one guys :) I will add the new boss to the poll in a few hours once everyone gets introduced to him lol
v3.3.1 Changed some balance issues
- Broodlings and Healing Sentry are now both on an 8 second doom timer
- Casting cooldown for both Broodlings and Healing Sentry lowered to 8 seconds
- Increased health of sentry
- Increased damage of Dark templar to 200
- Lowered scan range of broodlings, you really have to be close to enemy for them to attack now.

- Added the final piece of dialogue when defeating final boss, perhaps adding a hint to a part 2? :)
Local multiplayer is here!
- Reduced Templars hit points to 1200
- Reduced Templars damage to 110
- Reduced Broodling damage to 8
- Reduced Broodling hit points to 225
- Both Templars have the seperate cooldowns but they are still @8 seconds each like before
- Controls for second player are as follows
-Forward = I, Backwards = K, Right = L, Left = J. Melee Attack = O key (The letter not number), Spawn Broodlings = P, Spawn Healer = U. - You will most likely need a type of PC controller in order to use this efficiently, i recommend downloading Xpadder to map keys to controllers.
- Also at the moment someone will have to be the designated camera controller, the camera does follow both players but it still needs to be adjusted from time to time.
Be on the lookout for a future sequel project to this map, "The Planetary Boss Hunt".

are you going to give the DT's attack a cooldown? as it is you can spam click and do stuff like kill big bad in around 3 sec

The sentry only heals you to 1200 because the other 500 is shields I believe is how it works
Confirmed you can run under the mother ship and melee her :P
@Denerak nope LOL the hydras right? yeah i gotta fix those :( sorry @Ghoohg? WHAT!? you can hit the mothership from the ground?
looks really good in recent updates :)
Bugs/Other stuff of note: Sentry stays around a bit too long, only heals you to 1200 (that on purpose?)
beat ultross went up ramp and to the right, instead of going in shield I found a path in the back right corner where I can walk down it, go through the doodads at the end and end up on a ledge above a zerg egg and an infested marine who can attack me.
maybe in front of the warboss area near all the zealots make the shields teleport you to a place where you get swarmed if you walk into them
killed the warboss and the camera glitched a bit before new hero
killed the new hero in around 6 hits by running up under its middle and slashing
@denerak, thats probably where the egg and infested terran I saw were, and are probably there to be teleported when used or something
After you take the portal and start fighting your way through the mobs are you supposed to get owned in the face by the line of bosses over on the right?
had a thought, instead of launching broodlings, could you launch interceptors with like .01 range? that would give it a protoss look and still be around the same size and everything.
Next update will be the launch of phase 2 of the Mothership fight. After that, all updates will buffs to all other bosses to make them as fun as mothership... oh and bug fixes of course :)
@Denerak Oh she will be, in a few seconds im release a new update that includes an opening cinematic that will explain the point of the mother ship, what could be inside? :)
The Mothership was alot of fun although you should make her alot harder
Sound file sizes, they will be compressed for when b.net is launched but i will keep the HQ version on this site.. nothing wrong with better qaulity sound lol
Why is the map so huge?
I'm actually in the progress of making same screen 2 player co op :) How does that make you feel? lol

Thanks everyone! This is great! lol First off, in celebration of getting front page i have added a new final boss, you can access her by killing Warboss... now this boss is DEFINENTLY my new fav and i this one will take some maneuvering to defeat :)
@Javamaker i definently like those ideas and ill see what i can do. This map will be constantly evolving everyDAY while i try to perfect this via personal creativity and definently feedback comments like yours.
PS: I know this map is to large for b.net but when the time comes i will release a lower sound qaulity version of b.net BUT the HQmusic version will remain exclusive to this site (Will prolly make an ad to this site to DL the HQ version on the b.net friendly one.

Dude this map is great. Lots of fun. Also tons of potential to be a top played map.
Here are some personal thoughts i think could make this map excellent. I know it may be a long process but its just my opinion.
1. Love the theme, keep it that way, story is key, even though its a hack and slash. Maybe an intro and a victory ending for defeating all bosses. 2. Perhaps you could add multiple characters to select from, like in that templar arena map. DT is cool, templar? zealot? 3. New abilities of course, blink? storm?, maybe give the character leveling up systems for this? 4. I know you started with a dt spawning broodlings, but maybe you could recolor them to be more protoss looking, new models? , change color? Would make sense with the theme, like the healing bot you can summon. 5. Boss Dialog when you meet them, text, etc. 6. I know it can be challenging, but adding more fun challenges to complete like waves of minions or death traps, etc.
Theres just so much you can add to this. But ya its great, just some thoughts.

So i'm thinking about changing the T'vex theme to the Jenova theme lol seems like it would fit for his appearance. What do you guys think? Or do you guys already like that neat little intro hes got? :) Comment your feedback! <3
