City Of Tempest
City Of Tempest, originally City Defense is among the most popular maps on Korea server. The map is now translated and available on Bnet US. Basically its an AOS - MOBA maps with 3 identically vertical lanes. Its pretty well done, watch the video for any more info.

Posted Jan 5, 2011yea, when I started PLO I tried to avoid making the effects too blinged out. Each ability can be identified easily from it's effect. Don't know which way the bnet crowd will lean towards

Posted Jan 4, 2011The problem with SC2 maps based on ability effects is that they may get too "blinding" when they try to make a effect look cool, but it essentially doesn't show any uniqueness.
League of Legends for the PC has clear spell effects, because each one is custom made, and not consists of multiple effects recycled into one thing...
Making the effect much too big, and you end up getting overloaded effects on the screen when the battle gets big.
