Blizzards Custom Map Spotlight by Blizzard
Blizzard posted last week two new maps for their Custom Map Spotlight. One of which is from our very own gamfvr.
Star Battle
First up we have Star Battle. You may remember we put this map in the news awhile back.

Star Shooter Defense
Next up we have Star Shooter Defense, as luck would have it, we had this placed in the same article as the other map (odd huh?). Don't forget to stop by his thread to give him any new feedback!

Posted Dec 2, 2011I havn't even updated this map in like a full year. This was created back when the map editor was still a new tool to us. So it was cool back then. Since then I've lost interest in updating it.

Posted Dec 1, 2011lol, a joke! Gimme WC3 Hosting back, and ppl have to open their ports manual. Perfekt! 80% cant host like WC3. Is that purpose? What is in theyr head? Are they proud of this? Dont realize how noob they are?

Posted Dec 1, 2011I always laugh when people get angry at maps like Star Battle being on the first page and getting featured.
That's the only bad part about these map spotlights, people get butthurt that Blizzard didn't feature their map *cough*FockeWulf and go on rants.
And a map doesn't need custom UI or custom models to be good, I hate that way of thinking.

)Why they never highlight map with good looking custom UI, high quality, good scripting and etc? Something of exceptional quality and at the same time not so popular (usually because it cannot climb to 1st page and nobody looks further).
It's always something what is already popular and have pretty simple gameplay. well, it's just my opinion ofc.

Star Shooter Defense aint bad, but has 0 replay ability.
