Night of the Dead 2 by Ability and co
Quote:NOTD II is a Free to Play cooperative survival game. It places the player in the boots of the United Global Coalition (UGC) Marines as they, along with up to seven others, investigate the events that have turned Eden from a bustling colony on Mars into a seemingly deserted husk, holding untold secrets and daunting challenges.
With the most recent edition of NOTD being one of the most popular games in the StarCraft II Arcade, we feel that we've struck a nerve in terms of what people enjoy playing, so we want to produce something even better. More enemies, more missions, more weapons, more customization, and more fun are our goals for NOTD II. We want to take everything we've learned from the previous game and apply it to create a higher quality experience for everyone involved.
If you want to support the project, you can donate to the kickstarter. If you're not feeling like donating, you can still help the project immensely by spreading the word and sharing the link with as many people as possible; the more popular the project gets on kickstarter, the more exposure it will get, and the more people will donate. If you feel like discussing the project, or you want to see the original trailer, you can check out the project thread.

Thanks to those that supported and made our NOTD 2 Kickstarter successful. Behind the Kickstarter campaign was years of effort (since WarCraft III days) to build the NOTD franchise and develop a long-term fan base. I hope this helps encourage more developers here to grow their maps/mods.
Am also regularly pushing Blizzard (through their periodic developer reach-outs) to continue innovating on StarCraft Arcade and eventually provide a way for us to commercialize our projects.
Blizzard has no problem with people doing a kickstarter for their projects as long as you study up on what you can or can't do with your map and don't break any of those rules. The specifics are found in the legal section on the StarCraft 2 website.
I feel like making money for a game made in blizzard's engine is against their rules. I could understand if it was a standalone but this is just the same notd with more stuff right? I don't get why people would fund it.
Another successful Kickstarter, congrats!
Congratulations indeed.
Congratulations. :)
Thanks Sixen. We have 7 days to go in our NOTD 2 Kickstarter campaign. We've raised $3,151 of our $5,000 funding goal to date. Thanks for all the support so far.
