However, with that being said, I have the funny impression that even though the website has changed and believed inferior, content by the community is eveolving in rapid rate.
Once more then I'd like to say.
THANKS to all the authors as well as users of all this site still has to offer. Together we keep the spirit alive!
Just tried this out with a few test objects. This work damn splendid! Too bad we can't modify particle RGB colors this way. It would be awesome and so easy to completely redefine models just based on this. But I definately will be using this more often for those models that blender can't open.
Nice idea there Edhriano. However I think its a little too angellike for a purifier based unit. With that being said, I only created the one in the images on experimental basis. Lemme fiddle with it some more, clea up and add some effects and we'll see where it goes :) Also I'll see if I can get a few gifs up to show the transforming sequences.
Following in the footsteps of many other SC2Mapster members I dived into the world of mapping/campaigning.
After several tries and quits in the past, this time I intend to follow through with my idea of creating a campaign with several missions for you to enjoy. I hope to bring yet another experience and that is map stand amongst all other custom campaign already out there.
I will do my best get maps out next to all other activities already running. But I just had to share it...
The campaign will be set in the style of Time Splitters (mostly TS2). It will revolve around the Talon factions, but is set in the universe of Starcraft including all other races at some point. As mentioned, the story is based on Time Splitters, meaning your objective in the end is to travel to certain moments in time in order to fix the course of history.
The pilot to the campaign is devided in two maps and serves as introduction to the Talon as a playable race.
1. The Talon part 1, all about introduction and startup of the campaign, Your main antagonist clearly is up to no good. (map is 80% done-ish)
2. The Talon part 2, this map will follow up on events from map 1 and end in the discovery of the real thread, the destruction of time itself, and you [the player] who will be tasked to restore events throughout time.
Map 3 and onwards will become more stand-alone type mission within the over-arcing story.
Below are screenshots from the first map [ The Talon part 1]
and as promised, an update on Sin-Ar. Still some effects to be sorted out and not all animations are accounted for, but I'd say she's about 85 / 90% complete. I should mention, the teamcolor used in the images is Orange and affects the blade and backplate spikes, however some crystals on her armor are plain RGB orange.
No need to thanks, I'm always glad to help :) . I was just curious if you have done it this way, since Adept portraits can't be imported into blender :(
Which is what has stopped me to create several portraits until now. I'll take that tutorial and give it a go man! Thanks!
To tickle your fancy, this time around its more a 'what if Sin-Ar had the best of the Purifier technology'. Sin-Ar is a prime Hero in Noir Automata, fighting the Purifiers. Her redesign shows a re-imagining of what a Purifier enhanced tough warrior could look like, incorporating aspects of what makes the Purifiers unique.
I would've liked to drop some new images here. But for some reason any images in the images folder on this site are completely USELESS FOR ANYTHING!
What is this?!??
The damn things download straight to my personal folder --> not needed, and extremely annoying.
And when I want to link to their core path "http://yaddayadda.jpg". it just redirects me to the main images folder on this site over and over --. ALSO USELESS.

My thanks is great.
This will allow us to recreate Adept Portraits to our hearts content.

Hi Everyone.
As most of you already know certain models are unaccessible for us Bender users as the program can't open the needed models.
However, it would be of great help if anyone is in the ability to extract the mesh and save it as an .obj file of the Adept Portrait.
Thanks in advance for who can do this.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for the support guys! I surely hope the maps will be good fun.
Hopefully the first map is up for playtesting in a week or 2.

Currently using another hosting site for images to solve this issue.
