    It seems to be no reinforcements, no soldiers and even no weapons in this Battle of Blizzard vs Value. And since we can not expect the help from Blizzard. I am going to start this project, let us build our own develop team.

    If any of you have model requests, I will do them all, I will be your backup force instead of Blizzard on art side. I will be as strong as 20 guys if I have to be. Everyday I can finish a character model or a new UI system or 10 FX models or 2 ships/spaceships. I will finish every request you raise, and last until I can not keep such working strength. It will be a suicide mission, but I still hope this can mean something to our mapsters.

    I hope more artists can join this plan and let's found our own develop team to help the mapsters, Blizzard did few things to help them but the truth is we can do all this on our own.

    Many good people died on the battle field, so Blizzard please, no more zoldens, no more oneonestars and no more nalos, I hate to see such good guys left.

    I have to say that everything except one in DOTA2 art assets I can do it in Starcraft2, so to me I believe the two engines have similar potential on art representability. And I have very high evaluation on m3 format, it's very very powerful and smart, Blizzard did make a very nice tool for 3d and FX artists.

    To DOTA2 tool, I doubt that for now, of course that people will make models for DOTA2 custom games too, but I don't think it can be as free as m3 is.

    But all I said above are meaningless. Don't argue with Renee too please, no matter which of you win the discussion won't change anything.

    The real thing will help B team or V team win this "editor war" is their policies and strategy. The age that leaves all fishes in the ocean and every week you harvest some has gone. The winner has to talk to fishes, solve the fishes' requests, be a friend of fishes or even become a fish. The point is when the both tools have similar quality, the advantage will come from the service you can give the mapsters. Other wise fishes will move to the other ocean.

    Blizzard doesn't do this part well, it pays little at least not enough attentions to the community and has no will to share their power to build a better environment. If they did pay attention to the community, they won't ask these stupid questions in private, and there won't be so few skilled mapsters left.

    Renee said that usually a new mapster can't survive/keep active a year, and in the trench I lost 2 partners already and saw many good people came and left. I still think there will be a better tomorrow on SC2, but more and more friends are leaving, how can you win a war (if Blizzard really wants to) with plenty guns but no soldiers.

    R.I.P deal zolden, we finally still lose you in the SC2 community, and that's one of the biggest lost of sc2mapster too.

    Hi JacktheArcher, I am working on your hook model, is there any new information that can help me understand how will it work better?

    The weird one, I don't know what it should be, I made it because someone told me that I should try more different ship models instead of all look like puritano. So I tried the fish-like ship, maybe now it can be a submarine for special use such as in a horizontal version action game or RPG, it's too alternative in a RTS now.

    There must be something wrong... Now a mod update file and a new mod of mine in "Assets" page are stuck waiting approval. All my old mods show 404 errors and I can't modify my uploaded files or change the introduction of my mods. It's really terrible... I have to say, in China we never get such troubles blablabla... Sorry for my complaining, it doesn't mean that SC2mapster isn't a good forum, just I wish there will be a better user experience on assets sharing.

    Today I have made a new spaceship model, it's not finished but already looks weird, I copy some ideas from mudskipper fish.

    I am going to change the title of this thread because too many guys ask why it sounds so weird.

    Now all US fighters are finished except some very old planes, I think I should make some missile and bomb models.

    Still be busy in tons of troubles...July isn't my lucky month I guess...

    I have finished this tonight...to now most US aircrafts are finished, Next week I will move to Russian air force part.

    I have designed an aircraft combat map project, but I am still too busy to post plan in thread and recruit members myself.
