Even behaviours use a timed check soo I think it would be the same thing of using a timed trigger check.
However I can't use just behaviours cause I need to check a 3d collision and it seems that behaviours just check for 2d range.
I would like to make an optimized collision detection using an event "Unit enters region" where the region is a new created region attached to the missile unit.
Do you know a way to add a custom event to a trigger using another trigger? I think it was possible in WC3 editor...
Here are some screenshoots of the work we are doing:
Basically it's a Beat'Em Up style map similar to old games like Golden Axe, Capitan Commando, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs and so on.
We are trying to emulate the arcade gameplay with 8 directions controls, monster waves, custom GUI and soo on.
Isn't that a BNet limitation for the beta?
If you convert a standard 2v2 map with the launcher i think u can't add more then 4 players in the lobby until blizzard doesn't allow that
Mmmmm my team could be interested. For now our project is top secret but we are going to release some screenshoot or a vid soon. I assure you we are working on something that you have never seen around (not 3d fps, campaing or minigame) and we are working hard to make it ready for the sc2 release ;)
Could you please PM me a MSN or Skype contact? Email conversations are soo asynchronous xD

I think you need a validator for alive units or something like that

They already did it before the come out of the galaxy editor, search in the old sc2mapster news.

The huge problem is that the Object file contains soo many data like units, doodas, points, etc

I think you can just duplicate the unit and the actor, all the rest should be associated automatically to the new unit

I think it can just be done changing the path blocker of force field leaving a hole inside it
