In case anyone else ever has the same problem with the abilities the problem was the trigger needs to be changed from include shared abilities to ignore shared abilities. Also you may not be able to have more then 1 copy of a ability per unit
the question is confusing because the scenario is confusing. and no it was not because of elevation, i have a black hole in my map that allows units that try to walk over it to fall off the map. The rocks just happened to fall through when it shifted spots. I am still not sure what to do about my abilities tho, maybe it is a fail copy paste, maybe it is generic any event like my friend glorn said, or maybe it is a cooldown issue.
I am making abilities for hero's and made a non controllable summon unit. The problem is after the water cave my unit is removed from the map, and i do not have ANY trigger in my map that removes unit, Now i am also having a problem with destructible units like rocks being placed under the map but being selected above the map. As well as triggers responding to any ability used instead of the selected ability even though they are programmed not to. Example of this is player uses stimpack 1 the triggers associated with stimpack 2 and stim pack 3 as well as stimpack 1 all are activated. What did i do, and how the heck do i fix it? ps i am not starting over, it has taken me almost 2 months to build this map to this point..

I am using code blocks to write codes. I suck, I am new, I do not understand computer slang, now with that said how do i declare a variable in c+ + code?
I am trying to do something fun in a mini game that will make 1 particular unit not selectable in the game, i do not want to use the data editor because i need that unit to be selectable during the course of the normal game. How would i do this using triggers?
There's not much I can do about that unless I went into a long conversation or actually fixed his map myself (which I've done in the past, but as you can imagine, time is limited!).
I am not even that great with the map editor but i do know my way around some of the advanced functions on it, and i already understand exactly what you are talking about. You make a map and all of a sudden people want you to come help fix there maps and do things for them, and they get upset when you try to explain that i am sorry but i do not have the time it takes to fix your map. Its a pain in the ass sometimes but i have learned do what i can when i can do it, and to not care anymore when they get upset that you can not help them as cold as that sounds lol.
ya there is a lot of great knowledge here on this web site but the problem is it is like sifting for gold, you will spend 30 minutes to a hour before your get your nugget of information. I personally look at sc2mapster not so much as a great place to learn the editor, but kinda the only place. It's like the school library for doing research projects, unfortunately our library is not organized in any great way, and most of the threads are answered in ways that beginner users just can not understand. Anyways enough of dealing with troll, yes darc i am interested.
Is there a way to create blight, or creep, that prevents enemies from building on it. Example being both teams are zerg, both teams buildings need creep, only friendly or allied buildings can be built on my creep, not enemy. Also I would need to change the destroy creep if creep generator = dead, time to instant.

Can't hurt to test it and see what happens. Right now as it is i have it so that all units are no longer selectable and i do not like that ;/.
