Men and women have been trained to act differently since day one. Different genders do things better/differently then each other, who is to say that doesn't effect a certain job? Not to mention, when businesses are forced(strongly encouraged) into hiring a certain gender, skin color, or race simply because they have to few of them doesn't help.
It's like a debate that's going on in Denmark right now. Around 80% of the leader poisitions are taken by men, and now the women treats it as discriminating and wants it to be equal. IMHO, that is the most fucking stupid thing I've ever heard, and it's an example of how racism and discrimination can be handled badly. Men, or at least the men that've applied to the post, are just better suited for leadership.
Exactly where can you change the selection ring's radiius, if it is changable at all? I've played around with the different radius fields, but they don't seem to make a difference really... There are some of the buildings that I've created myself where the selection ring isn't visible at all because the actual model is above it I think.
Yea, I know about dropbox and I've been using it regularly, but only for text documents and the likes. Didn't ever think about backing up my map, I have no idea why.
I just wanted to give you guys some advice. One of my harddrives just got wiped, and I lost my map in the process. I strongly recommend that you create a backup, if not multiple, of a map that you've put a lot and thought and effort into. I just lost hours and hours of work on a map that I actually wanted to get somewhere with, and it's all time wasted for nothing now. Please, PLEASE make backups, guys. It might seem pretty straight-forward for some, but as I didn't do it, I'm guessing that there's someone else out there who hasn't either.
Eeehhh... Does a game company actually have the right to write all kinds of crap in there? Like things you have to do, that you have to pay them money etc...?
All content, except from the content from blizzard custom maps and custom assets in general, is located in the standard dependencies. You just need to know how to activate them and/or use models
I need an object to fall steadily until it hits the ground. Is this possible? I just played the campaign and saw that Blizzard kind of did this with the flying mercenaries 'dropping' from the sky. Would be sweet if it could be activated through triggers somehow.

I think most of the controversy with EA lately have been about the on-disc DLC? Or am I wrong, I don't really know much about EA.

Well, if you have a mathematical mind you can figure out most of the trigger editor, I'd say.

Didn't have any programming experience when I started on triggers, but I found it fairly easy.

Sounds like a good project to start of with :) Have fun and good luck

You mean the grid-thingy around the pylon when selected?
0
@CrusaderHeimdall: Go
It's a behavior called 'power user'. It's on all protoss structures except the pylon and nexus. I think.

Exactly what I needed. I'd like the object's shadow to be right underneath it, so the light source should be right over it. Any way of doing that?
