I get what you guys mean about experience making the process easier. In my case, I don't think it does. I cannot find any loopholes or 'cheats' in the data-editor that makes the process of balancing, adding values and creating various objects easier.
But I definetely agree that it would be smart to start out small - getting it playable - and build on to your map as time progress.
They were specifically BUILT for that (; I don't believe starcraft is to that exctent.
Anyways, on topic of the cliffs, you're using doodads. That might work in an rpg-type map, but if you'd like to make a slim TD, those rocks just wouldn't fit in. I'd love to see you try and make them as simple as possible w/o the use of doodads :)
Does anyone know why Sc2 has so few levels of cliffs? WC3 has so many, and many mappers used them well. Therefore it's hella hard to replicate maps from WC3. Is there any way of getting more in the editor?
I've worked on soo many maps... I haven't finished ANY of them (;
-How much dedication is needed to finish up a map? What I always get stuck on is the polishing and balancing - the tedious datawork. Some maps do not require this, but many competitive ones do. I know for a fact that a lot of you guys out there have completed maps as such, maps that require loads of tedious datawork. How do you carry on? It bores the hell out of me, so much that I just give up :(
I've had this problem myself as well. I'm confident that it's a bug that happens to me when I copy loads of buttons because I'm lazy. Recreating the button seems to help for me.
-Also, if you don't have an ability for the button, it won't show up. In the commandcard, that is.
Are you really supposed to create a unit with the doodad's model, or did I miss something?
EDIT: I want rain and thunder doodads to be created or play their animation at some point, but the 'clear animations for doodads in region' action does not work. I set it to the default animation and the thunder doodad - but it doesn't clear it.

I'm gonna try to look into it. In any case, you can just modify the unit-pathing thingy.

I'm east of england, so I guess it's GMT+1. I might be wrong though, timezones aren't my strongest point.

Why did you call it Footman, when the original title was Peon, as far as i know?
Looks fun! :)

That's the inside of a penis. I can clearly tell.

There is no trigger for this, or am I wrong?
