ye i reckon after i finish this enfos remake ill have left a mark and since im releasing it public people can view it and learn from my data editing eg: spells/items/command card/triggers or whatever i have in my map at the time of release but ye i reckon settign yourself up witha project that is bigger then a small one is a good way to go cos it dips your feet into a wide range of areas that you wouldnt have entered otherwise.
hmm i dont bicker. and i barely even have time as it is to map. whilst typing this its reminding me that i shouldnt be mapping and should be doing my assignments >.<
mmm sounds like giving it a charge counter so it can only be used once. or give it a requirement so its use is disabled and show is enabled or maybe both disabled until some condition(as for the condition im not sure what parameters or what condition >.<) i would also have been thinking of triggers for this solution

i think you could try have it so when your unit is created set it into an array or a variable of some kind and use it in a if statement within the event
edit: ahahaha this might not work >.< but hope it helps
ye. i've seen that occurence recently where 4 threads down is one that says 40mins or something and the 3 above it are 10mins,2hrs,4hrs(these arent stickys)
have you tried starting a new map and add some basic terrain and testing if units do same thing...but i think its to do with your data in editor i can;t be to sure but didnt someone say had to do with terrain transformer that is applied to all buildings.
i think i'd prefer setting self up with a large project because during the making it gives you a taste of lots of different aspects of the data editor.
