Made some more progress today. Also researched the original ITT, and will likely follow their lead and add several smaller islands connected by shallows around the map.
Looks great. The only thing I could think of was that the vines in the first shot look a bit "off". Especially the top one. I think they could be a bit closer to the rocks, at least imo.
Also. just out of curiosity, what scale are your trees?
I liked the starbattle one a lot more. The raunchiness/profanity helps set you apart from most reviewers. A little more explanation of the game mechanics might have been nice, but as whole that one was pretty good.
Thanks for the input and the kind words. I watched a lot of your tutorials when I was starting out, and I'm still somewhat newbish with data editing and triggers unfortunately, so I may well take your offer up :)
I was thinking of yes, doing all player models as WoW models now. Some of the wildlife from WoW would be great to bring over(i.e. crabs, crocodiles, sea monsters) but a lot of the SC stuff is good for that too.
I've updated the OP. I read what you said, and that sounds better than just plain-jane classes. Fits into what I was thinking about a skill tree too.
The only things I'm seriously wondering about atm are some features that were extremely easy to do in WC3, namely environmental/structural interaction. I.e., you can't chop down trees or build structures. I would have to find the assets somewhere(and I don't think WoW has them), which might be difficult. Trees would be easier.(I would just make them a neutral unit one could "search" like a corpse.)

But anyway, thanks for the post. Just my musings.

I was thinking about this, and it was kind of silly. I also realized I wouldn't have enough models for wildlife with SCII alone. I'll remove it.

Hey,
First question - does the "reptiles" include the include the "threshadon" model?
Secondly, could you do some troll models? Especially the jungle/forest trolls
Models of trolls with weapons, masks, etc would be great!
