I cannot find the exact video on S2Streamster, but the video was about the guy making a map with some indoor terrain on how to use the different textures to make it look cool.
He has a half-danish accent while he's speaking english.
I think this whole of idea of streaming around the StarCraft II editor is perfect.
Now, I've watched the livestream a few times and all of the times I've been dissapointed.
I'm not trying to sound like a douche or an ass etc., but the guy who's speaking... Well, the only thing that I hear is:
"Uhm.. Eh..." "We're going to... (long break) ... Oh yeah, We're going to... Go... (Long break again)" "No, no not there" etc. etc.
I appreciate that you use alot of your time and work hard to keep this stream up and I would really love to watch such one, but when I cannot understand what the guy's doing or saying, the whole experience shatters before me.
I'm actually working hard at the moment to create 2-3 maps for the contest entry.
I feel kinda the same. I don't need any of those games, but I really feel like sharing my work and see how many would like it. It's also a good practice... Out from the comments/points you get to learn at which kind of content that you need to improve at.
Now... I might be kind of stupid asking this question, but when you say ''Campaign Map'' does that mean that I can only enter the contest with ONE SINGLE map or may I enter with several maps, which should make a campaign in its whole? ( :
I would love to enter that contest... The only problem that I have at the moment is that I cannot get any ideas for a ''short'' campaign.
Never read the Heaven's Devils Book(s) :)
Did you play the StarCraft: Original and the Brood War campaigns?
Kerrigan forces Zeratul to kill his Matriarch (Raszagal) and he doesn't take it very nice after that.
But I don't know anything else about Arudine, so you may be right : )
The one you speak of is Matriarch Raszagal.
Hmm, I've received so much feedback and I guess the Campaign's main structure (story-oriented) should be that badass mystique warrior race.
Another thing I might want to add in the story is; Explaining a lot about the Protoss culture, how their psi-link works and their technology (Statis Cells, Teleportation, Psionic Matrix' etc etc.)
I was wondering... About the dialogues... What would any usual Templar or Protoss say and how would they express themselves in different situations? Are there any books or intel or anything about this, considering that dialogue's a huge part of the quality of the campaign.

I won't be entering the contest.
I simply cannot make a campaign with good quality in less than 14 days, so I'll post the "part" of my campaign map here on Mapster.
Would be awesome if we had more some more time next time such a mapmaking contest shows up (:
If anyone feels like continue working with it, feel free to do it.

Looks really good man.
But I must agree, try to put some trees in or something so it won't be that blank at several areas.

Actually, some guy imported all the models from StarCraft Broodwar and made a custom map in Warcraft III.
I wonder if you could do the same with SC2...

I know what you mean with the last line... : S
If I'm having an idea I motivate myself to work on it... Later on I pause the work and let the map(s) be in my folders as trash... unfinished.

Have ever tried to make a campaign map or a series of them in the SC2 Editor?
I'm only guessing, but if you showed Blizzard your skills by making such maps your portfolio would maybe become even better.
