    lol well i exactly did that, its the core of my map :-D its a hero defense map and you get experience every time you play. so you cant get the next level the first time . only the next time you play :-D but as its a hero defense map... they cant do much damage to other players. they cant have anything noone can have normally...

    so there is no big advantage? i mean, noone can screw my map with editing the banks. it´s just the hero level, and it´s a defense map, so they not compete against other players...

    i´m thinking about not using the signature...

    Edit: hehe i read the cracker hacker discussion, now i´m scared. hopefully noone kills my map :-D

    hi, how can i remove this animation that raynor starts to turn around after a while? i want him to face the camera all the time, but after 5 seconds he turns left, then again till he shows his a in the camera :-D

    yeah i use the prep phase. well the problem is that it´s to late for other player to recognize i want to teleport if i use it with the start of the search effect :( what happens to blizzard abilities if the casters dies while casting?

    other question , because you seem to know the editor quit well. at the beginning you can choose a hero with the "camera system". (not with dialogs or the circle thing). the problem is that raynor has this stupid animation where he turns around while standing. how can i deactivate that, because it looks really stupid if you choose your hero and he shows you his ass... :-D

    hey, it´s a mix unfortunatly. it´s a mass teleportation spell. when you click on the ability button, you need to click on the ground for the target area and around the caster (within the curser splat area) is a search area effect which defines the units which will be teleported with the caster. and after that , well, they alle teleport to the target location. so unfortunatly i cant find the commands you suggested... :(

    hey, i have a problem i dont know how to fix. i made a spell where i creat a cursor splat model around the caster , so every ally know "uuh, ich want to get close with him" ;). And after the cast phase, it´s destroyed. Actor Event: Ability - Source Prep - Create Actor Even: Ability Source Cast Stop - Destroy

    This works perfectly. But if my unit dies while the prepare/cast phase or just simply give a move order and cancels the ability, the cursor model stays around the caster and is only destroyed if he uses the ability correctly again.

    what can i do?

    posted a message on One of my triggers ruined it all

    i did not open the map, but i had a similar problem. i created a map with the german editor version and modified it with the english version. so all the strings (text) i created in the german version dont appear in the english one. instead it´s param/type/blabla. you have to write the text again. open the trigger editor, open the text, delete it and write it again :-D

    or you search here for my post about that topic, there is a link to a localization manager.

    posted a message on [Solved] Mass Teleportation Ability

    i solved it, after 1 week of stupid clicking and trying it out :) i write the solution if anyone wants to use it go ahead, but its no real tutorial so i just keep it short.

    Ability: Mass Teleportation (= blink with all units around) Effect: Choose a destination (like blink) and teleport the caster and all friendly units around him to the location

    How to do it: Just modify the mothership - mass recall ability. go to the abilities tab and search for the ability, so you can see all linked effects.

    click on the search area effect: -change search filtes to ally and player (if you want to teleport your friends too). -change target impact location to caster unit/point and target launch location to caster unit.

    click on the teleport units effect: - effect source is "mothership - mass recall - search area" and value "caster point" - target placement around is mothership bla search area with value "target point" - target - target is mother bla search with value "target point" again

    then it should work. maybe anyone needs this spell too :)
