it can be modified. bigger squares, random gap location/bigger gaps. bigger gaps between rooms...bigger areas, more "branches....
but not perfect yet. not totally sure how I would like it to be. Perhaps a bit bigger rooms and a bit bigger gaps between rooms...perhaps even combining some rooms...
You didn't read my post. If you did, you didn't understand it. But anyway:
You can play the maps that you think are good, you just can't do it well with random people if the maps you think are good differ from the maps the majority of players considers good. The system doesn't dictate you in what you have to consider good, it simply gives you a list of the maps the majority considers good. The problem is that right now (since fun or not isn't ideal), that's the only thing it gives you. And if every quality map has an audience, there's nothing stopping those people from joining a chat channel.
Apparently if you set movement speed with trigger the Behaviour does not apply properly, the movement speed stays same as you set in triggers...how bullshit is that? I thought it would just change the base speed....
I just cant understand the editor. I try to apply speed buff by searching area and it applies the speed buff behaviour (it does appear on units) Then I set modify speed multiplier to 2...but it does nothing...
really weird why this doesnt work....what could be the problem :/
Well if you want to be nice and release the map unprotected go ahead, just dont expect anything. It might be hard to get succesor with skills and motivation.
Its freaking horrible. Why would they change it so drastically. It almost feels like youtube went similar that bnet went from wc3 -> sc2. They hired some shit ass UI designer who doesnt even know the basics of UI designing....
Why change something that aint broken? Im a bit anoyed by this, but I suppose its still usable....

Judging from mozareds posts I wonder if he even plays maps in sc2 or has ever tried hosting your own game.
And not to mention wc3...

Another thing. I tried applying the buff with triggers then it gives the speed buff....This is pretty mysterious stuff....

@ShadowedShade: Go
As I said the buff does appear on unit (the icon) but it doesnt increase the movement spee at all...
and once again this is weird since I managed to slow units down before with same effects and behaviours...

If wc3 had same bnet as bnet0.2 I would have probly never become mapper and saved 10000000h of my life from playing different customs...
