The point isnt wheter the map is stellar or not. Its that in wc3 you could play WHAT YOU WANT. in sc2 you cant. You have to play what others want to play. Example who the fuck would play escape from gay heaven for 10000h, its a game you come back to every now and then....
Wheter the maps at top are 95% better than other maps is irrelevant. It boosts and support only certain types of maps.
second point would be to actually able to test 6+ players map in other day than mapnight. Admid it or not, but testing is huge part of the development.
If you fail to realize all these things....you are "insert word here" (Ill refrain myself from being mean this time)

I would say its a good start. Compared to other FF copies we seen so far it looks quite bad.
Add the timeline so you can see when charecters can attack (greate dialog item -> progress bar)

I would expect people to pay 1-5d. But naturally if you want a premium map I think it needs to have solid single player content. I dont think Iv seen any wc3 or sc2 story driven RPG though...even the single player campaigns Iv played always seemed somewhat lacking...
I agree with you. I fefrained posting cause it seems rather pointless...I dont think that kind of "hostility" from karasawa is that bad, since the point he made was valid.
Even if its a teaser it shoul not be boring and I felt like it was boring.

slowly been working on hero spells. Im too obsessed about visuals, but finally got nice meteor effect for my meteor strike spell....
Again my motivation is a bit wandering. Im thinking about another project I would like to start and work with (an arena map). Im really motivated on working with the maps, but I tend to get these new and amazing ideas I want to make :D.
So Ill have to see if I wana try to make something else for a while, I would use some same assets that are in this map on my arena map too, so I would expect to have results quite fast.
One of the things I would like to have in this map is PvP too. Im just not sure if the skills are the kind that make interesting PvP cenarios, they are designed for PvE atleast. I would also have to adjusts stuns and "traps" a bit so there wouldnt be OP spells. Does anyone thing I should try to make some PvP action to this map?
So is anyone going to transfer or just play around with it? Im currently looking some tutorials to see what its like.
I probly wont be doing too much stuff with it. Maybe ill try to make a dungeon at somepoint or something. I would like to make my own epic questline, but currently I want to work a bit more on my sc2 project.
and to flame more blizzard, they seriosly should have released tutorial videos too. It cannot take that much time to make something like that and would help the community. GJ bethesda
Terrain is quite bad. Feels like a lot is going on on the screen. Its kinda hard to focus on the "tutorial" text. I dont think the colors match that well, the terrain kinda make me go :( .
It will probly look a bit better on fullscreen, but still seems a bit like tons of shit going on...and it doesnt look that natural together. Bright yellow planet against pure black terrain.
