thats pretty great. If those things just rotate nicely and are active lobbys I think I could live with that.
Im not totally sure if I like the ratings showing...I suppose its fine (perhaps even option to disable rating or buffer that shows rating after like 20 ratings)
Its still pretty full, but I sort of still like it. Yea I have not really anything bad to say about that. Its really close to my vision of good custom map system.
In this case I believe its actually good thing to have somekind of banner below the rotating menu. You dont want to have 100 maps shown so the waiting time
probly is a bit shorter.
I dont like the text placement. All over the place...also seems to contain high amount of information (maybe too much). the shadow on the moon seems out of place (text one).
I guess what bothers me most is the text...I really dont think loading screens should be super cool. Just the large text blocks all over the place anoy me.
The UI should not have those big banners for promotion. They could just make new page for info about maps and promoting.
I think I would prefer something like.
Active lobbys on left side and most popular/bookmark on right side. Active lobbys would be those rotating ones. And preferably popular maps wont show up on the rotating list, since you can easilly join them from the popular thingy.
I think I would like less gategories is the best. You could then use drop down menu or something to filter more if you so wish.
We are very well informed with this matter. blizzard will take a step towars flash style UI that will give some hope of getting your games played, but
will most likely fail horribly (or atleast a bit).
I still think the hots will provide "better system for mappers, but not for gamers".
Ill let you figure out yourself what I mean by that, if we assume the UI is mostly similar to the latest presentation.
I hate when people say this. When you got nothing concrete, you cant say they are better.
While sc universe seems like a polished one and the pvp demo was interesting (as in pretty fluent and smooth wasd combat system). Im still not
exactly sure if its going to be an excellent piece. There are many limitations in the editor and something you should not cross them.
When I actually get a good rpg in my hands, then I might change my mind. Wc3 did have some really cool rpgs. One of the most interesting ones was the
FF rpg. It hand interesting style and fun combat.
Since Iv done quite a lot of boss fights. I want to ask what are you going to do to keep the boss fights interesting? This is sort of a problem Iv also faced. My own map uses combinable spells to add some strategy and teamplay to boss fights. The bosses somewhat react to how you play (it gets more aggressive if you attack the boss and it also gets tired after a while). Even so I think I should try to figure out something more to keep it interesting.
My favourite boss fights are probly from monster hunter. The bosses are epic, you need teamwork and skill to kill it. Also the rewards make you want to hunt it again. Something like this is a bit hard to do in sc2 due the nature of sc2 being rts game (hard to convert it to tps or fps game among other things).
Well Im going to probly work a bit more on everything on my map. Ill try to get balance between evade/dodge spells, healing spells and damage spells. It would be cool if you really need to plan ahead what you do to beat the boss (not attack move).
I havent played wow, but boss fights are always a cool idea. I would like to know how are you going to do it though.
Currently I only seen him promote nexus wars and melee mods (wtf bullshit)
But I suppose perhaps even blizzard will start to think more if husky would make valid points and show there are maps that would get plays if there would be possibility to get people in lobby.
Woho Made and Update. Small bug fixes and a bit different battle UI.
Im not gona do any major work on this for now. But at Hots I might improve it since it would be actually easier to get feedback...well I might couple more updates to things that bother me.

You can add behaviours and custom value and check them with conditions.
Since dont know exactly what you want. thats somethuing you could try
