If it was just like the private message notification it'd be incredible. Liek you click it and it says "You have replies in these threads" and gives you a link to each thread with new posts that you posted in
I find it incredibly hard to follow my threads especially when i see someone asking for help and i post a suggestion or question but forget where i did it. Notifications could help to stop a lot of dead end threads that people have forgotten about. I would like to see this feature brought to mapster for my benefit and the benefit of the community.
Good tutorial, perhaps this will help some beginner questions, but i think you should rename it to something more regarding abilities and explain how this can be used as a generic tutorial and not just for blink. If an absolute beginner doesn't grasp that many things are interchangeable he/she is definitely going to miss out on much flexibility found in the editor.
I beat the game a few times, when you coudl win it by killing the giant overlord. I havent played since. Basically the strategy for waves 1-10 is build two rows of bunkers 3x3 with 3 turrets in the middle of them, there should be no room between them so worms dont destroy your turrets. Only stack them with marines. After sell your back row of bunkers and turrets and get seige tanks and reapers. Get the reaper upgrade to shoot air and get some photon cannons with teh split shots upgrade. Should be able to beat everything this way.
yes, i played it till the first town and learned there's almost no motivation to level up as the dark templar hero because with cloak you can just crush anything if you wait till your energy regenerates to fight. It also bugged and decloaked at 25 mana instead of 0.
long roads cause problems with shadows, for some reason i've had roads cast shadows on cliffs... which doesn't make any sense to me but... maybe that explains something?
make a series of regions on every edge of the map that teleports units to the opposite side. It will give the mario effect of hopping from one side of the screen to the other, and that will perhaps be the best you can get without more complicated methods.
You could make it put an effect/behavior on your units, and have a trigger that checks for that every 5 or 10 seconds on every player. Whoever has the buff gets + score, the people who dont have it wont get + score.
what is taking up all that space? I looked at your map, and to be honest it seems fairly sparse? I didnt play, but still... Unless you have alot of custom models in it then i just don't know how you could get 14 mb on a map sized that small.
copy paste terrain to another map, save new map, level your map's terrain, save map, open other map, copy back terrain, paste, save. should be normal as if you made it all from scratch. Or maybe your problem is different.
I think there are only 3 accessable cliff levels. Bottom level (pits/space) is unusable, floor is usable, second story is usable, third story is usable.

For me it appears to be a visual only glitch, but it does happen.

When the mothership cloak moves over a unit it fades into cloaking, you might want to look at that behavior for your cloaking desires.

I can't even begin to help you, but i did see a physics based library that allows for objects to orbit eachother based on mass.
