I need to create buff that will damage attackers.(like "Thorns" in WC3.)
So i created new Behavior(buff type) and edited "Combat:Damage response+" field: "Chance" set to 1, "Location" set to "Attacker", "Handled" set to my damage effect(its new effect and only "Amount" changed in it).
It cant understand why it doesnt working. Am i missed something or is there another way to do it? Help pls.
Its just about working time and mod size. All this content was done just by one person (except BladeMaster and ShadowHunter models). Mod size is far from limit now but 4+ races in plans. Normal/specular maps will increase mod size. I can add them but its not a priority for now.
I use standart windows media player and tried to play them in sc2editor - it plays ogg`s from sound.mpq but cant play ogg`s from speech.mpq.
Exaken, please, can u extract it for me? i need all ogg`s from folders: Sound/Creature/TaurenFemaleShamanNPC and Sound/Characters/TaurenVocalFemale from speech-enGB.MPQ ( or speech-enUS.MPQ).
so i just figured problem: my speech-enGB.MPQ is broken - i have also speech-ruRU.MPQ and Ladik extracted same ogg file without any problems. ill try to launch wow repair - may be it will download required file.
WinMPQ did same thing as Ladik`s MPQ:it opens speech.mpq file, but then it extract broken file that cant be played via any player or SC2 editor. OGGs from Sound.mpq extracted perfectly by any extractor - but all sounds i need from speech.mpq are broken and i cant use them =((( seems they are protected by blizzs.
I tried to use WMV 7.0.4 for saving oggs - it doesnt work at all. Ladik`s editor works with sound.mpq perfectly, but it doesnt work with speech-xxx.mpq for me. =(
So i need a tauren female shaman NPC sounds for my map, i found them in World of Warcraft\Data\enGB\speech-enGB.MPQ. But Ladik`s mpq editor cant extract ogg files from this archive properly. May be its just my archive/editor bugged and someone can help me to do this?
I need several "attack","what","yes","hello","greeting" sounds in ogg or mp3 format.
Ill be totaly dissappointed if files are protected and impossible to extract. =(
SO problem isn`t solved at all, but i did good discovery. I just published mod, added battle.net mod to dependencies, deleted local mod from dependencies, published map and tested it. All works fine. Problem appears only when i test map using mod file located on my PC by opening map and pressing test.
ITS VERY STRANGE and i still want to know reason. If someone got any ideas please post it here.
yeah - all units are in one mod - but some of them disappear after launching map, as i said before those strange units works fine in game if I open mod and press test that launches same map.
Update: its not error messages, its warning messages: "USER:Invalid preplaced unit `unit name` "
So some of my units disappeared after map start =). I got this messages in error: Invalid preplaced unit "unit name". Also its very strange, but when i start this map through mod (created new mod and pressed test button , map defined as default test map) all units are in game. When opened map and started test units disappeared. I even don`t know where to start digging.

you just need codecs for playing ogg by WMP i think. I downloaded codecs with ogg convertor and my WMP can play files you extracted.

My unit has flag "turn before moving" on. And i need to play "Walk" animation on unit when it turns. Is it possible via data?
