B player only sees it when A player will give control of its units to B player.
Its possible to hide or reduce radius of selected units circles but that i think will not solve your problem.
But if you may ever want to know about selection circles. Every game object Model type have a selection radius section there. You can set there radius of selection circles, etc.
Possible with triggers at least. Some dialogs with choises and there is some kind of detection of what players in what team gets it from game lobby before start of the game.

Its still quite challange to make it. If you totally new in making maps, mods for Starcraft 2 or scripting. I would not suggest doing. It consumes a lot of time to make it for me at least.

Changing Unit Actor to GenericUnitStandart type. Because when duplicating it still depended on previous units actors displays of armor.
Duplicating Actor or making it seperatly from unit itself.

If im correct Blizz will ban maps in which they will find any continent from Hots.

How about texturing the terrain? Or you imagine it like snowlands?
