On the topic of logic: it's much more logical for there to be stuff everywhere than for there not to be any stuff. I also have no problem
whatsoever seeing where the "roads" are and where you can/can't walk.
Contrary to what Moz thinks, I think that it isn't too cluttered, just so long as you're either using it for a third or first person game, or not at all for a game. Keep making awesome Warcraft terrains :D
Actually, you don't need to change the brightness to change the color. Also, the default brightness is 1, or the normal color. The actual color is, by default, black. If you don't change that, then the box will uncheck itself.

It's pretty easy to change doodad height with triggers. Just send the actor message "setheight x" to the doodad.

I figured out your problem. Select another doodad in the doodad menu thing and it should work fine.

I made a trench :D

I THINK that he's trying to recruit you for his map...

Once again I must disagree with you :/

I'm pretty sure this is the biggest SC2 mapping site, though.

Ah, you used the Stone Zealot Base, I assume?
@Reaper872: Go
You're really committed to finding a way to make stairs with the terrain object aren't you...

Sooooooo many reasons.

Meh, stairs aren't anything special.

@Mozared: Go
Hmmm... I always just make the colors on my own without using the color palette thing at all and I never have the problems you're talking about.

It's much easier to tint to doodad in the terrain editor, but that method does indeed work.

I think it's an unavoidable glitch with SC2. Even when all the triggers are perfect and there shouldn't be any glitches, it still happens.

He's Rodrigo, what would you expect? Plus, he comes up with quite controversial things most of the time.
