StarCraft II does not have armour types. You can change armour description using the catalog natives and modify armour itself by adding/removing buff type behaviours but that does not alter the mechanics of the armour.
If you are using some custom system to simulate Warcraft III armour types I would recommend you contact the content author and ask for help.
This is an interesting question, does someone know the answer? How to change the attribute of a unit(outside selecting the attribute in the data editor)?
You can rename the armor and change its icon via triggers. However, if you want an armor type system like that in Warcraft 3, where different weapon types do different amounts of damage against different armor types, you have quite a deal of work cut out for you. And that's going to be in the Data Editor entirely. It can be done, though!
Hello everyone!
I want to change armor type of picked units via triggers several times a game. If it's possible, how to do it?
what is an armor type? there are no armor types in sc2. only unit attributes like massiv, organic etc
Armor types like in Warcraft III.

Are you saying like switching from the attribute armored to the attribute light?
Yes, something like this.
Could you tell me how to do it, please?

since renee is remaking all of these things i would ask him
No, it's not possible with triggers because armor types can't be written during the game. Only in data editor.

But there is no "armor type" even in the data editor. There is an armor name and description as well as armor mechanics but no "type" on units.
