This program allows you to swap Lost Temple for any SC2Map/S2MA file and play that instead over Battle.net. As long as everyone swaps their file, it should allow multiplayer play.
This tool is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.
It will also allow you to launch custom games in single player. Not all maps support this feature but it works sometimes.
The Lost Temple map for me is on:
C:\Documents and Settings\Vjeux\Local Settings\Application Data\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache\44\75\4475ddf83ebd5a0072d29a4009374cf2187f963acede493edfa5f6a5b07c4f49.s2ma
It does not look like to be the same hash as you guys. Anything I missed?
So the tool didn't work for you? The hash you posted IS correct for Lost Temple.
I assume you're on Windows XP since I didn't get a chance to do testing with that OS. (Also it apparently has a different AppData dir, though I did attempt to workaround for that)
Can you open a command prompt and type "echo %USERPROFILE%" and tell me what that says?
The exact code used to detect the map folder for Windows XP is:
I've run in to a bit of a snag here and I could use some help. For starters most of the friends that I have have Windows XP and I have Vista. The Mapcraft launcher works fine for me but not for them because they keep getting the message "Unable to create application directory". They have installed the latest version of Java and it still doesnt work, dont ask me why. And when I try do the other trick with deleting the files and all that it doesnt seem to work at all. Dont even know if I am doing it right.
My folder and the folders of my friends looks like this: Cache/2e0bea8af7278e98da4a3e416d208cd17956bc36e1b53e37287a468ed1468daa.s2ma/00000000/hardTile.bin
And that is all there is to it, no map to delete or anything. Just that hardtile.bin that is 1b. I did all the steps correctly and so did my friends, still it didnt work.
The folder with hardTile.bin is simply the wrong directory (on both your parts). If you could post the information I asked vjeux to in the above post (have one of your Windows XP buddies do it), I could try debugging it for Windows XP and re-release it shortly.
I did write it in the command prompt as told, and all that showed up was a new line of nothing where I could type in the same thing again. Dont know why but it just wont work.
Can one of your Windows XP friends run this jar file? Let me know if it changes anything. If so, I'll re-release the Windows version as 1.2.
You can run it with the command line: "java -jar MapCraft.jar"
Sadly we ran into the same problem again, telling us the same thing. "Unable to create application directory". Windows XP is just a huge mystery to me >.>.
Perhaps there is a way to make it so that it wont require Java to be run but some other program that wont have the same problem for windows XP users?
It has always said that it was unable to create application directory, something to do with the Java application me thinks, and if you look at the first post I made I did say that first hand. It keeps telling them that everytime they try to run the file on XP. Doesnt happen to me on Vista though.

I wonder if it's different for EU/US...

Sadly, nothing turned up when both he and I went to the cmd prompt and we typed it in many variations like yours. Nothing happened.
You typed "echo %USERPROFILE%" and nothing came up...? Minus the quotation marks.
Yes, exactly.
You're typing it in the Command Prompt, right? It should work.
Regardless, Motive, you can find that stuff through Google. Here.

Yeah, I found USERPROFILE on Google originally. Unfortunately, all of the people with XP so far insist that it's not working. :/

I'll get on it when one of them gets home from work. Thanks alot for your help, I'll let you know when I have something.

No longer works as of patch 11. :(

Just tested, this DOES still function as of Patch 11.

Wait, so it said Unable to find Lost Temple before, and now it's saying Unable to create application directory?
