So well I recently got my own 3ds Max 2010, and got M3 importer, I took the script and put it into scripts, I press run script, find it, run it, change utility, open model, all works well and then I click import and THIS happens.
Well I tested the scipts on max2010, 2011 (which is a developement version) and 2012. It works just as intended on all of those versions.
Did you place the sc2objects.ms file in \plugins\ folder?
If not, go to TOOLS -> MAXSCRIPT -> RUN and run the sc2objects.ms and then RUN m3_import and m3_export

I don't have it in plugins, problem is I don't think I have it AT ALL, I just can't find sc2objects.ms
I do as you said but I can't run something that is just..not..there.

Can anyone help me? :/
sc2_objects.ms should be in \plugins\ in your 3dsmax folder. Max will run it automatically on startup.
Could you try to do the same thing on 3dsmax 2011?
I will test it on 3dsmax 2010 today and let you know.
@Leruster: Go
I COULD get 2011, but I'd rether not if it can be fixed on 2010, thank you a lot :)
If I may suggest, could you post future problems in the M3 thread? http://www.sc2mapster.com/forums/resources/third-party-tools/963-m3-exporter/?page=38 :)
Damn I did not see, do you wish for me to repost there?
No that's cool :)
Alright I will wait up to see if you found anything with 2010 and if not I'll try using 2011 :)
