Corruption ORPG is what I have chosen to call this series of maps.
FAQ:
-There is currently 4 heroes to choose from
-There is no hero-level, as such. You can view a heroes total item-level at all times though.
-Item-level is calculated from a formula, it simply describes how good an item is.
-For now, the greatest total item-level for a hero is about 500. 173 for the single best item.
-You can save one of each hero-type. They can only be chosen at game-start (in lobby)
-The story will take place in a mixture of medival and the StarCraft theme
-Each hero will have 16 spells to choose freely from, right at game-start
-Each hero will have 20 achievements to achieve. 12 are non-specific, and 8 is class-specific.
-Achievements can do tons of stuff, they are all in theory, equally good. One achievement can for example give "+20% fire spell damage" or "Increase the duration of your revojunation spell by 4s"
-You can only have 6 spells and 4 achievements active at a time (these can be changed at certain zones, such as friendly cities, or at some resurrection-stones)
-A custom item-drop and loot system makes looting fair
-This is not a WoW rip-off!
-The work on this map started in the beginning of the beta, and a lot of systems has already been revamped

Thanks mate :) Pretty much what I am aiming for. The game-play is like a mixture of Diablo and WoW (even though I don't know much about WoW), and with a ton of unique features. I will show those as soon as they reach a non-alpha stage.
-Warrior (Starts off with 1 extra armor, and a bit more life. Also a some more melee damage. This class has abilities that can both be great for taking damage as well as gaining extra threat, and can also be customized to deal huge amount of melee damage on a few hits)
-Spirit Hunter (Is a melee class, with extra attack-speed and damage to start with. Can cast healing spells, as well as summoning spirit-beasts. Can also cast a few spells that deals nature/poison damage)
-Arcane Sorceress (Fast spell-caster, can cast shields on friendly units that absorbs damage(one spell). Great at doing AOE damage, and single-target damage)
-Cultist (Can cast holy spells to burn health and mana, as well as fire, and frosts spells to weaken and damage enemy units)
Each class has an important role, but is still very customizable, because of the amount of spells and achievements for each class. Also, no items are class specific, so you could make a team of 4 of the same class, but it is suggested to have a bit of everything on the team.
? You're doing diablo game play all wrong then. Diablo is lots of monsters with little hp and normal damage. Rather then just a few monsters with lots of hp and normal damage. Looks nice tho. Specially the minimap.
Eh, tbh a priests plays the roll of a priest and a warrior plays the roll of a warrior etc... is team play but it doesn't take brain powa. Not that I really care which way he goes with the map, I was just pointing out that this doesn't seem anything like Diablo to me. Btw, bosses can take brain power and team work either way if they are designed well enough. Such as one distracts him and the others go behind him to atk him or take the time to prepare a big spell or attack pillars to make them fall on him, etc.
Each class plays an important role. From what is showed in the video, I understand that you don't see the hack'n'slash part. Not that there is one, but there is part of the map where you will face 15+ mobs at the same time, sometimes even with computer backup :)
I hope to show off some more videos :) My computer and internet is just very slow, and the time I use on media, is taken directly from the time I would use on the map..
Also, update! I managed to get the map on B.net for private beta-testing with Adelios, we found tons of bugs, but they should be fixed very soon, which mean we can start focusing on adding more abilities, items and improve the UI. Also, I will look into adding better effects for spells and attacks for heroes :) As well as adding sounds to various spells and events

Looks good, actually medival looks better in SC2 engine then SC2 theme.
Looks like stand alone RPG game :D .

It is looking nice, I would say move the camera down a TAD... Kinda seems like its a bit too high to me.
