Team Revoki contacted me this weekend because they were needing a melee map that you don't have to remake. They wanted to use on their team, which consists of only Master League players. They told me that if I make the map, they would promote Debates and since they sometimes broadcast with Husky, I decided to take the chance.
So I made the system, which I called iCJug. The system works for any melee map. Its first version is on Lost Temple. It's basically a melee tournament where players based on skills and priorities are picked to play together. Who loses become and observer and who wins stays playing. And of course, there are all the Debates features on it, including admins, all-time ranking, player's stars, etc.
I tested it with the team revoki, and they liked a lot. But, it's MELEE and I'm not a big fan of melee (so, I'm not going to make a video about it). :P
Anyway, the map was published today, so this is my first post about it. Make sure you play with 14-players and I will be happy to hear some feedback and ways to improve it (since it's still beta). You will find iCJug on the first page if you filter by Melee.
Is there any chance you will change this to Shattered Temple? Or add a
random map selector to change the terrain or soemthing? Would be great

Yeah, I plan on doing that. The map is still beta.
edit: I tried to do a random map selector, but it won't be possible due to the map size limit. The biggest map we can make is only 256x256, which is not enough.
A new iCJug map has just been published. And what is cool is that all the iCJug maps use the same bank, so your score is kept the same in all the maps.
Is there gunna be a iCJUG debates round for bonus points? :D So is this a tournament all in 1 map, where players move up the ranks. Wouldn't it be boring to sit around and wait for players to beat each other while you wait for your turn?

Why not just call it KOTH, King of the hill, because that is what the map is, there are a few out already, "Map name" + KOTH Obs 1v1 etc..

Wow! I just realized that there's a bunch of map like this, and they are very similar even though I haven't played them before making this one! O.o

That is what melee players do all the time. Don't try to understand them.
