This whole map looks amazing! I would definitely enjoy playing this, even if it was single player! I hope it comes out soon... (like, really soon - not to push, pressure, or annoy you, but it just looks that good...)
Anyway, about Bnet... I think that people would appreciate the amazingness of the map, despite some lag. Almost every custom map has lag, so this wouldn't stand out from that - except for how awesome it is. I know that personally my friends and I would definitely enjoy it, despite the lag. My suggestion is that you release it for Bnet as a multiplayer map, even though it may be laggy. Maybe you could have a disclaimer asking any participants to complain to Blizzard (whether it be an e-mail or just another forum topic) to maybe fix the lag. I think that eventually Blizzard would fix the lag anyway, due to many complaints about it. Sorry if this suggestion seems like I'm suggesting that a miracle will happen, but like I said, a lot of people are fed up with the lag. Anyway, looks great, keep it up, and most of all, RELEASE IT SOON!!! (even if it's only single player)
Also I'm not a true publisher, so I wouldn't understand the worries of publishing a map that feels "unfinished" due to lag or anything, so excuse me if I sound naive or annoying.
Is there any way to edit unit movements so that moving shots look more natural? I've noticed in a lot of shooter maps how characters just... slide when shooting while moving.
I made it so when you shoot the guy stops moving automaticly. But perhaps you could seperate the top and bottom of the unit with a turret type of thing, liek the immportal. And then the top half could reload/shoot independently while the bottom half moved around or stood still. That would be awesome, but I have no clue how to do it.

Feel free to Send me a PM if you have any questions/concerns!
To do that you would want to export the model, and cut it into the two segments, problem is after re splicing animations you would have to get the turret to still use the same animation parts as the unit or the legs/waist. This i am unsure, i dont know how you would coordinate differing stand animations and fidgets or make it so both parts choose the same of any animation when you have multiple options, ie: stand , stand 01, stand 02. My guess is lots of events.
Hey man, awesome looking map, but I'm curious what function or coding do you use to get your character to turn, because I'm finding that getting the unit to turn to the yaw of the Player's camera every like 0.001 seconds is looking really messy.
Thats what I use. Every 0.001 seconds issue order to (your guy) to turn facing (camera yaw of player 1)
It looks and works fine, but you might have to check if he is reloading/shooting before turning or whatever.

pleaaaase upload this so that we can check it out playing singleplayer ! Your maps are amazing! no other map other there is close to looking as cool as urs!
Hi awesooome map i hope it gets released soon, im triying to make one but is far from finished, about your map how did you get the ammo bar like that? all i got is a boss bar
I cannot WAIT for this map to come out! Singleplayer or not, it looks good... I've been checking here everyday to see if it's been released yet. That's how excited I am for it.
Absolutely amazing that it was, considering it's a video of a map not even released / I mean, damn, on TV? I hope the Developer realizes just how popular his map is becoming. :P

@cloud206: Go
Amen to that.
why not make a single player map? possible even like a rpg/fps style, because Blizz wont fix their crap for a while
You are a God amongst mere mortals.

Hey.
Where did you find the Spectre unit? It's the most awesomely suitable unit for a TPS.
EDIT: Found it. Had to have the Liberty Story dependency at the top :)

Hey where do I put the Waterworks map so I can try this thing out?
Well im sorry for the delay. Me and TheKC are working on something with this that goes beyond what you could call a "tech demo". Stay tuned.
We will!

I have almost given up on my TPS map, I can not get the shooting to work on a 3d plane. What ever... Your map looks AMAZING cant wait to play.
Your map is definitely a technical achievement, now if only blizz would get on the whole slew of problems that face asdw movement.
This was featured on G4TV today.

Small sneak peak on how an alpha can look :)
Malu05 will beat me for that, but i think it's worth it ;)
