ill be changing stuff in the Sniperz ProMod mostly visual but also adding stuff but to start ill change name to Snipers Promod and new loading screen lol :p

I hate someone hiding in the trees or attack from south to north, they have just more vision and the moving player just dont.
I think if we have a button to rotate camera 90 digree per click it would work well.
Maybe a dummy ability.
There will be no cheat position, because u can always turn the camera and see it.
And u don't need to fix positions ever.
About the terrain, keep the geometry simple, but use more texture.
And I really think u can make 4 arena in 1 map. Use random to choose it,
umm ... guess I dissagree with most people on this.... a snipers map needs to allow the players to take advantage of the available positions... which means locations where they can grief other people from....
shouldnt need more then one arena....."THIS IS NOT A HERO ARENA TYPE OF GAME" terrain matters... knowing terrain matters..... you want a wide field of terrain with advantage positions and disadvantaged positions.....

i've been making lot of changes and added some items you can buy.. also added a dialog that shows the mvp(the person with most points in game)
i still want 3 more items but i suck at data i still want
a smoke grenade - that would leave smoke like the zeratul blink and would slowdown ppl in it
a flash grenade - that would reduce the vision of the players it hit
and a trap mine - that would stun the person who activates it for a bit
I just stumbled on your map in the Arcade Beta and was interested in helping you develop this map a little more, I like what you have done visually with the map so far.
Another player and I, Nibiria, were reminiscing about the old v-tec paintball maps from Wc3 and was thinking that this map could benefit from some of the stuff that was implemented in that map, such as a 3rd person perspective for example. I have no problem working with the camera code for this. I've done mapping in Wc3, and have been learning the Sc2 editor recently as well. I was wondering if you were still looking for help before making a new map ourselves as I love what you have done so far!
I'm pretty good at terraining (functional doodad placement and prettying things up), and might also be able to help you update that load screen. In addition, I have also been learning to export models (that work!) from Max to Sc2 if we wanted to go that route for obstacles or whatnot. Please PM me if you think you could use the help! I'll also check back into this thread soon.
Not interested in reinventing your wheel if you are against it though, but I still would love to help.

Maybe a little info about classes on the sides.
Less modes... more items... better terrain....
should only need 1 arena for snipers.... but make it really good

But compare to sc1 this is a 3d game.
If never use the advantage of 3d, it sucks.
And allow rotation means true balance between those 2 teams.
Because there are something i can only do with red atm. The blue base is at top right and it is diffecult to attack something right under it.
If u use the locked view, blue got killed before red apear on the screen.
But if u can rotate 180 degree. it is a other story. u could then attack along the top side.

ye people have to know how to use the field of vision
u can choose not to follow(ill make it better to toggle on and off)
and while following u can press arrow and camera will move so u can make camera go down and still follow youru nit
anyway i wanted someone to make me a terrain..
just need place for both flags a spawn area some places ppl can hide and make it look cool xD

was thinking on making 2 spawns in each side and make it random or smthing..
to make it fair cause going down is little harder to see if using follow cam
btw you guys have more suggestions ? i really think this maps is fun and i welcome anyone that wants to help :)

Why not just change the spawn location to be at the mid left instead of being at the corners of the map?
it would be too close from the flag
