ok i got a few ideas for units, that if i get a good feed back for i want made. i am not good at this so asking for help, and anyone can use them. someone please help, after someone shows interest i will tell about units
You won't get anything done then. You can't do a show me yours and I'll show you mine kind of mindset when you're asking for something. Ideas are easy to come up with, everyone thinks their's is unique and will be stolen by someone else. Here's some news, everyone here is most likely working on their own mod or looking for some cool mod to wet their mouth over.
Here's some even bigger news. Until you have something to show for your work modellers won't make anything, even then they might not help. sc2mapster is one of the worst place to find modellers since there aren't that many here willing to help as they are working on their own projects making models. Modelling takes time and skill, compared to data where almost anyone can do that. So you either need to show a unit with some abilities or a complete unit with your working mod just waiting for the model otherwise you'll get no where.
that aint what i ment. i dont wanna see what somehow has done. i just wanted to see if anyone even interested in trying to help make a new unit. And i working on unit right now, but honestly i am new at this and it is not worth putting up right now. my actually request was going to be if someone could make a "zergified" form of the critters in game.
If you want something simple just to be there as a base model do as SoulFicher suggested, modify the texture. I don't feel like digging up the link but if you find one of the mods, DrSuperEvil, he'll be in the data section, he has a link to a tutt that teaches you how to modify units texture using GE. It's really quite simple but might take a few re-do's to actually understand what it is you're doing.
I actually tried doing exactly what you want using the TextureSelectbyID method previously mentioned, I seemed to have got a few errors when trying to use the critters, but it could've been something I did, I just gave up because I had more pressing matters to attend to.

@karasux12: Go That would be useful. I always thought Scantipedes are Zerg things under cover. Maybe only a retexture would do it.
