I've read your FAQ and calculated in the editor. The Range conversion from warcraft to sc2 appears to be warcraftrange/128 = starcraft range. same for movementspeed... and so on.
Yet i have some problem: Meleeattacks in sc2 seem to have a different range than they have in wc3 even though the numbers are correct.
100 [/128=0,78125] Range in Warcraft 3:
0.7812 [*128=99,9936] Range in Starcraft 2:
In Warcraft the models actually look like hitting one another but in starcraft they dont. Even when rescaling the model to 1.2 it's still not as close as in warcraft. The problem occurs with all meleeunits. (Err just don't pay to much attention to my terrainmapping, it has the wrong scaling so far.)
Any idea why this problem appears? (With Ranged units everything looks correct)
I actually rescaled the models in sc2 now so that they look quite big (to big) but they still come closer for attacking in wc3 - could state that with more screens if needed

Well, the war3 melee just use different calculate method than sc2 melee.
I used 0.7812 just for value consistence. (I made the mod as consistence as possible with war3)
It is recommeded to do this in SC2:
Weapon Range: Set to 0.1
Uncheck the flag 'Use Range To Center' (The field is Weapon: Legacy Option)
interesting, yet now its closer than in wc3. I'll try some to make it as close as possible to the original.
I found 0.35 to be fitting, maybe 0.6 for a warcraft 3 feel.
