i need help testing the map.. does any1 have the time? my username is "XDisturbedX"
the game is locked.. for now.. im planing to release it as a template soon...
I didn't have any peon model so i used a war3 footman by Triceron... and named it PiMP MY FOOTMAN... =D
i really suck at advertising my maps... i cant make any videos coz im still looking for players to test the game for bugs and to make a replay video for it..
anyone willing to play/test the map with or without me then post the replay here?....
did anyone try it? any suggestions on how i can improve the game?
i uploaded a new version.. all known bugs were fixed... and added new features...

Thanks... i was shocked to see that it moved to the 5th page yesterday.. ill be adding an AI soon, i still have a lot of balancing to do before that...
ill be updating the game daily... i really need suggestions and help balancing....

I want to say, that the key idea - upgrades are seen at model - is good.
But game mechanics is too simple for me.
I've played the map a couple of times and I was feeling interested first time, learning how to play, and was bored second time, wehn I have understood, how this workes.
The main shortcoming is general for most pvp games. Since you have a little advangage, you can do just simpliest things, any fighting interaction with other players will increase your advantage. Everyone just feeds you if you're mighty. There is jsut no tactics present to overplay mighter player. There are jsut 2 tactics: you just keep playing if you're best, and quit if you aren't. While initial advantage can be aquired arbitrary. Unless you're microing as hell. But it makes this little funny thing to require too much micro. I'm not sure it's a good thing. I'd prefer to think strategically and then let units to do all the work automatically.
Also it's not easy to micro if a player haven't hp indicators on. So, there is an idea: make units to show their hp at model. Dunno how: tint color, bleeding or some visual effects... But it'd be useful to se what unit need to retreat.
Also, all the upgrades are about the same - to die slower, then your opponent. It doesn't increase tactical divercity as well.
So, try to make the game more interesting tactically, and it will be funnier to play.

Done - Game mode: Choose where you want your base.
WIP - Team up with a player any time.
WIP - Show dying units (blood efx)
WIP - Game mode: Choose max bounty ( 01 - 05 - 10 ) WIP - Game mode: Enable or disable Base Turret
Done - Remake Mass Recall ability...
WIP - Known bugs will be fixed

i reduced the turrets damage from 5 to 3... if its still too much then i guess i have to disable it or base the attacks on energy or something
Old - 25 damage per sec
New - 15 damage per sec
i cant remove the turret coz people will abuse it and spawn farm on newbies =((

Hi, After playing some " Pimp my Footman " Good job but ...
1/ Map with 9 player is not good : ->A map with 4 player : Each in a corner would be perfect
if nobody is near you, or very far, you have bad luck for the next ...
The guy in the center just stay in def and just must wait ( bored )
If you have a noob near you, you have luck and a perfect start ... -_-

2/ Buildings should be improved regeneration, and upgrade for more HP ( armor ect ..)
Because if your base is in the red, and if you move your footmans, you are dead -_-
3/ The skills base :
It would be better if it was based on the energy.
Because if you have no more skill and if your base is in red, and if you move your footmans, you are dead.
Another skil suggestion : The skill " RECALL in mass " (like have mothersheep ) And based on the energy.
If you do this, this game will be more fun and more interesting : )

Cool, i have see you have add the new skill " Mass Recall "
The time for recall is too long, too much footmans die before they are recall.
The cost in energy ( 25 ) this is too little. ( 50 maybe)
--------------------The base defense is too strong, it's suicide to attack someone who is in def (especially with the cannon)
Maybe better without the cannon. Because we have too much skills for the def ...
---------------------If other skills would be dependent of the energy, It will be better, because we should make choices and manage energy : )

The balancing perfect will be hard to find, but i hope you will approach it : )
For the cannon, another solution is to start without cannon( just in early game )
- it will be buyable, with an expensive price : maybe 90 or more.
->This will encourage attacks, and reduce the methods of wait and def in base ( in early game )
