Along with Molsterr, I use FF and GC, though FF is my main. Only time I ever use IE is when designing something on a site and I need to make sure it looks good on all 3 browsers, :P.

Explorer works on dinosaur age old computers, unlike sleak buggy chrome (it takes ressources needlessly) and almost outdated firefox
As stated before people use multiple only for checking purposes
Firefox is a shareware, so it's real impressive, full of adds and... probably full of spyware, but ot to worry it's just to know which brand of cat food to spam you better with (that's the way things are on the nice internet)
I use Opera now and sometimes Firefox if feeling nostalgic. I used to use Netscape ages ago when tabs first arrived in web browsers.
The main reasons I have stuck with Opera is that is is fast, opens the pages that were open from the previous session and the ability to block flash and images without the need for add-ons.
Its especially annoying when you're working in an environment where IE is the standard browser used. I've developed apps in firefox before and later down the line found out things weren't working properly on IE. Because IE doesn't have auto html tag correction I suppose?

I read somewhere that on average Opera is the "best" browser, though Firefox beats it in customization and Chrome wins in speed (with firefox only barely behind).
I dunno. I'm hardcore Firefox, though I use Chrome from time to time when Firefox is acting weird. IE can go rot in its hole. Safari is only good for people who come over from Macs, and even then most of those people use Firefox too.
BTW Firefox 4.0 is gonna be awesome once they get the bugs out. ^_^
I always use Chrome (newest dev preview, nightly builds) and when the nightly builds act up, I flip over to Opera. In my opinion, Firefox is just too bloated, especially once you get 10+ tabs. I can manage 50+ tabs on Chrome and have it be faster.

I'm not sure if you're trolling but Firefox isn't full of ads nor spyware. To be exact, it has the ability to block ads and spyware better than Internet Explorer and other browsers. This can be handled using various extensions that are one of the best features of Firefox.
FF just needs to support 64 bit. IE does it. Can you believe that?
Firefox 4 64 bit is under development. It'll be released alongside version 5 which should arrive within a couple of months according to Mozilla's much speedier schedule. It's available if you want to try it out, but don't expect much stability from an early release.
If I remember correctly, Internet Explorer and Safari are the only 64 bit browsers at the moment.

You can try to create a new Firefox profile. It's probably a good idea if you've been using the same profile for years, which may accumulate various bugs after years of usage.

I thought version 4 was in development? Kind of surprised that version 5 is expected to follow so quickly...
I use FireFox Beta 4.0b11, and I love it. I've used Chrome but I didn't really like it better than FireFox 3.6 or whatever. Since I started using the FF Beta, I've greatly enjoyed some of the changes to the interface and menus... I love App Tabs!!
I've had no stability issues with FF Beta 4... like I said, enjoying some of the changes quite a bit. Been using the beta for about 3+ months now, at the least, quite possibly since a bit longer than that.
I am going to use FireFox now :) Probably way better than an outdated intetrnet explorer right? Mozilla FireFox 3.6 to be exact.
google chrome >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> internet explorer
Its WAY faster, simpler, and overall nicer looking. I've got firefox too and prefer google chrome greatly.

Damn it, just got firefox 3.6 :( This seems speedy though... Before I had IE 7 or whatever and this is like twice as fast. I'm content though, lol.
I use FF and GC ...GC is now my main tho .... never use IE...

FF and GC are both good. Personally I prefer chrome because it just looks better and is sleeker.
Any serious computer user avoids IE like the plague.

IE is only used for 3 things:
- Download other browsers (Firefox, Chrome)
- Check if your internet is working right.
- Visit Microsoft Support Center
(And yes, its not useless)
-Check if your website works on it.
This one isn't so much a use, but a required task because other people use IE!

Well, I got it for my laptop anyway. I will try chrome on this maybe. Whenever I upgrade this PC I will certainly use chrome I bet.

The guy talking about spyware and ads has to be a troll. FF is open source...
