Hi everyone.
I have some trouble creating a "custom lighting" system. Let me explain:
There are different zones on my map, and each zone should be lighted in a different way. See, this is a FPS map, and a player who is in a building shouldn't see the same way as a player who is outside. I can easily change the lighting of the game, but what I want is to have different lightings over different areas, or being able to set a custom lighting for each different player. Is that even possible? If it is, how can I get it working?
Thanks for your help =)
I don't think it's possible to change the lighting for just a single player, and in a multiplayer game that's the only way I can think of to break the lighting up into different regions.
Ok then maybe it is possible to set the lighting to zero, so that the map is completely dark, and then I set up lamps so light the inside, and er... very high and strong lamps outside to simulate stars x)
I believe it is possible to create local lightine effects (lamps), ain't it?
