overload119 from hiveworkshop posted a teaser for his sc2 map ( http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/starcraft-ii-408/my-sc2-map-heroes-163156/ ). We can see that he managed to display Lava instead of water.
Grum on the IRC managed to get that effect. It's in fact really easy, it no more than 3 lines in the WaterData.xml file:
<CWater id="Template 1"> <IsLava value="1"/> <BeachShoreline value="RedstoneBeachShoreline"/> <CliffShoreline value="RedstoneCliffShoreline"/> </CWater>
And here is the result:
Or red water mmmm nomnomnom BLOOOD (pale blood though, must be UK)
Or maybe your skin needs a sludge bath! (Done with textures btw, you cannot control color of the lava with the regular water settings so it seems).
Oh, awesome. Thanks.
I changed the tileset on one of the maps to the Redstone tileset, but it was lacking the lava which made it look a little strange. This shall complete that. :p
Lava using low settings ... does not look like lava :p
