Hey guys, this is Supernova134, now also known as XeyedAgent. I know some people know, though I have not been very public with this, I have begun work on a Xeyed campaign!
Not sure if anyone remembers the original campaign called Emergence I started a few years ago, (and then cancelled...) but this one starts in the umojan labs, rather than starting in a jungle telling you that you escaped from the umojan labs. While that same campaign may come, I decided to start with their initial creation, rather than after. I figured that by the time I did finally get around to when the Xeyed do "emerge", that the story would be much more fleshed out, and there would be more time for characters to develop the way I would like them.
I have the 1st mission ready for testing, so if you want a piece of the action, just give me a PM and I will get it to you.
I want to add voice overs, for 2 men, and a voice for a adjutant (A lady). My microphone quality is mediocre at best, and I am to young to give voice overs for full grown men (Unless there are a fair amount of effects, such as zerg or protoss voices), so if you want to take one of these roles as a voice actor/actress, just give me a PM for that as well.

I dont want to sound like a douche but i find the 3d pic a bit of a let down. The buildings are symmetrically placed near each other... and i find people who start campaigns make some terrain or unit composition/building placement to symmetrical. It would add more depth if it was more chaotically/unpredictable placed. Im not making conclusions from one pic but just saying as feedback. Oh and i would like to test your maps.... if u dont hate me by now :(
I figured placing them neatly, rather than how you suggested chaotic and unpredictable, would convey more that it is a very man-made environment. (Which it is) If however, I were doing this in a natural environment, I would place them more randomly rather than with even spacing and what not.
And yes, you can do some testing, I will PM you shortly.

Mission 2 will probably be ready for testing on the 7th. I have the terraining and the gameplay pretty much down, and all I need to to do is add the cutscenes and dialogs. I will post a couple of pictures to. :D
I will now be releasing mission 2 to testers, as well as an updated version of the first mission. Depending on the feedback I get from people on the new interation of the first mission, I will be releasing to the public soon.

Checked mission 1, nice mission and congratulation for the xeyedling, is finally cost effective (i remember when it was 100 minerals 2 supply meelee garbage...).
Terrain is ok, the only problem you should solve is to make the doodad used on the intro cinematic not visible on the fog of war
Great start for a campaign and i love that is an entirely new race, good tace to make it face original zergs
Hey guys, got some updates for ya. Mission 1 has a little added dialouge and mission 2 has been publicly released! Mission 3 is currently being developed to be a micro mission, which will feature a couple of evolution options (Similar to how Dudki's Annihilation campaign does it) for the Xeyedling, and 2 small boss fights. Look forward to when it is developed enough for your feedback!
Mission 2 was really enjoyable, even if the difficulty is too low imho, really loving this custom race, rapid fire ranged t1 with armored meelee t 1.5 with extra damage vs light, plus i am using scorpions, i love scorpions! Other cool stuff is that for now we are an experiment that is going right :)
Goddamnit, why did i speak! Well i just hope that this is a friendly bonfire with friends, yeah it is... No one was slaughtered from this rogue experiment...
OK guys, this is a real update this time. I think map design/gameplay is done for the most part, I just need 1 more mini boss and to finish the story aspect. After that I think map will be ready for testers.
Once the summer hits I am sure I will be able to work more comfortably, so more progress should be able to be made more quickly soon as summber hits.

Its happening! First time i saw jayborino casting the xeyed race i thought to myself this would make a intriguing campaign!
