I am currently working on a HeroWars Ultimate! Remake and im looking for some people that would like to join the project, help creating heroes, polishing the map´s look and balancing the game including future support after the release.
Its a 5vs5 Teambased Hero game, playing on 2 sides (Light and Dark) with the goal to destroy the enemy farm while pushing your hero - sounds like another DotA clone, but it definitly is not.
Current State of the map:
terrain basics - done
trigger based hero-attribute skilling shop system - done
some basic movement things, continous mob spawn, several tower lines - done
6 basic heroes w/o abilities - done
im looking for the following kind of teammembers:
Triggerers - improving performance of the existing code of the map, adding new things and supporting the map after release.
Terrainers - reworking the current terrain, making it look more realistic and giving the game a little optical awesomeness.
DataEditors - creating hero abilities and items aswell as supporting the map after release with bugfixing and several changes.
if anyone is interested, just post here an i'll let you join the team.

Its rough finding people interested in your project. I know that one been looking for people for over 6 months on my project oh well. Im on my project for the long run. Sometimes to get things done you just gotta do it yourself.

worked a lot lately on this map and worked out some major stuff.
most important things still need big attention, like hero abilities, items and balancing - so im looking for some people who would like to join the project, and are able to create some nice abilities items and stuff that comes with a hero based map!
if someone´s interested i could upload the current state of the map to let you have a look at the progress...
I`d be willing to help if you`re willing to help me in the beginning on terrain and scripting. I`m a complete novice on level design, but i have some experience in programming.
well if you're able to create things that i need im willing to help you on terrain etc..
what i need are kinda basic hero abilities and items, most of it wc3 styled stuff, like critical strike, evade, stun bolt, nova and several auras (vampiric, command, unholy etc..)
the game basically works, has continous playtime of 70hours on EU servers (its an alpha, i know its not much) but has several minor issues that i havent been able to fix yet, also the game needs some features etc..
if there are any triggering guys out there - experienced please, at least a bit - contact me!
This looks sick.... I didn't play it on Sc3. Played it on SC but it was called Custom Hero wars, exact same layout. With the hero battles in the middle every 3-5mins.
Was hoping this would come back to sc2, id be willing to help if I can. Ive done alot of maps in SC1, actually worked on this map balancing in origional sc. Right now though im pretty new at the SC2 editor jus been messing around with it to find my bearings. I am a quick learner though and have no doubt id be able to figure everything out soon and help.
If your looking for people who can jump right in and show you up thats not me, atleast not yet... haha. Definitly interested though. If nothing else ill help test it and play, I loved this map. Im on US servers though.
My "T" button doesn't always work, sorry if im missing some here and there. Hope you can read it.

also there is an website available now plus forum where players report bugs and do forum stuff. not much players yet but there will be more with time.

- Looking for Triggerers to help adding new features and fixing several things.
- Also looking for Data Editors able to create abilities (plus visuals) and some other things.
- Testers needed. (5-9 people)
Beside the team recruitments i am looking for testers that would playtest the map several times and write down things like imablances, broken stuff or what could be improved.
These testers should be able to play the map if something's has been updated to test again etc.
Some time has passed, and i am starting to work on this map again.
While working on another project a while back, i learned several new things and saw that some of my actual 'code' in the HeroWars Ultimate map not only sucks, it is also very bugged and lacks in performance here and there.
So, i am bumping this thread once again, to seek for someone skilled in triggering and data editing to
a.) Help me reworking some of the existing code and make it bug-free and way more stable
and
b.) To start implementing features and new 'content' afterwards.
I am kinda working alone on this map at the moment, so basically every help i can get is wanted, even if it's just some minor stuff you could do, but ofcourse major help has the highest priority.
