If you have played it, come discuss. If not, get it nowz.
Just like the last Braid, Bastion is indie game of the year material of 2011. The story and narration is amazing. The visual is impressive and the whole "ground builds up beneath our feet" is done pretty well. The music/soundtrack is among the best I've seen in games, in both battles and critical story moment. The hack and slash combat is also slick, just the RPG part is not as Diablo-ish as you would like it to be, but that's not what the game is trying to do.
*SPOILERS*
The ending scene where you choose to rescue the antagonist is the most emotional ending I've seen in games for years
Also the steam version has a Portal ester eggs in.
I did hear that the ending was really good. Looks cool. Quick question: I heard there was a narrator. How annoying does that get? (Repeated sounds, or no?)

Its not annoying, you probably want him to narrate your life, its that good. (3000-4000 line of narration).
The soundtrack is just amazing you could get the game for the music only. (check out more the video below's channel)
And here's some gameplay without commentary so you can hear the narrator.

I would search info myself, but I'm still on holidays with a crappy connection, and I'd rather see what people that already played it consider best.
I recall this game, but just as a mention, I didn't get to see it for real.
