I have recently completed my website for my main project (Undead) and I was wondering if anyone out there had the time to have a look and give some feedback for me... I am new at website making and any comment: Harsh, constructive or nice is welcome. To get to the website please just click on the signature below or if yuo have them disabled, just follow the link :Dhttp://crazymaps.weebly.com/
EDIT: If you are going to give feedback on the website, please go > Undead> Feedback, and fill in the form! (or just post in the comments here)
So maybe down to size12? In regards to the text I wanted to make it eye-catching, easy to read and something that takes up some space :D Ill see what I can do, thanks for the feedback guys! Keep it coming :D
I have edited all of the body type text to be smalller and all the same size. I have also only made the website just for Undead. It has also been reskinned and with a new background pic, check it out :)http://undeadsc2.weebly.com/ I cant get the logo in the right spot atm, working on it.
Thanks so much for your feedvback, keep it coming :D
yeah, it looks a lot better than the last time I saw it :) I would choose another background-image though, not that it looks bad, but theres a big "BlizzCon" logo at thebottom of it :p
I advise you to get rid of the kerrigan image, or at least the transparent background. To me, nothing shouts as much "unproffesional!" as giant or tiled images. Maybe something more like this http://www.mobafire.com. Where the important parts of the site (text etc...) is not interrupted by the picture.
I know it's a lot to do, and might be hard, but it's just some constructive criticism ^^
EDIT: I think you should find an image that looks more like the bottom of your current one.
So you rekon get rid of the transparency factor? So something with things looking like its coming from behind the text, but you cant see it? (Ahh I see the LoL page, now) What about not making the text transparent?
Hey heres a suggestion, You should use that retro ass B-movie font on Titles and things like that, Always adds Great value to any type of Zombie game. :D
First page is too noisy and the text is a too large.
Sc2mapster/Undead link broken.
You really need to use a CSS stylesheet. Most if not all of your headers and text have custom styling applied individually which makes it hard to maintain in the long run.
With CSS you can set a standard for all heading types or text as well as customise more of the way the page looks. It makes it so much easier to keep the consistency across all pages as well.
If you are not familiar with writing html and/ or css and are instead using a tool to write the website, initially it may take a while to learn. However it will be worth it, especially if you intend to maintain it or make other websites.
An example benefit with CSS: You could set your background as a fixed image in the center, so as you scroll it never moves. At this stage it just abruptly ends after you scroll down too far.
The font thats in ALOT of horror games, Usually deals with Aliens or Zombies. Gives it that 1950s feel to it lol.
Not sure What you mean by "2 noisy"
Fixing Undead Link now...
Thanks a heap for your feedback, no I dont know CSS or Html, but I used it to make background pic fit in ( I just looked at whats built in already, and copied off that.
Opening CSS tutorial now; hopefully Ill be able to learn in :)
Thanks a bUnch, please keep feedback coming

Hopefully the trailer is in order soon,
Thanks so much,
crazy :)
Looks kinda cool.
looking forward to an actual trailer.
you should start by working on the font-sizes, they are way too big and make it look a bit comic.
Other than that, it's a good start :)
Hey thanks guys for posting such quick replys!
@Flinkelinks: Go
Hopeuflly the trailer will be out within the week :)

bump
text is huge and title is hidden up there. Left menu could be a little smaller. The design overall can be greatly improved to match the map's idea.

NEEDS MOAR QQ
Edit: I think i need to make a bigger version.
More QQ - Say what?!
Yeah, I think you do :D
I think I have made my final edit for the website; except for the trailer which is still in production :)
Feedback is still much welcome,

Also you can't use custom fonts unless you embed them into the page with CSS.
Now that I would like to use :P
