Just a thought that crossed my mind since there are black Friday deals on SC2, one could essentially use that to get more map space. Additionally I'm thinking about using the LOTV expansion to gain more map space, by making a new account to register it to. I doubt they'll give you any extra space for having all three expansions, but they'll probably give the entire 150MB/20-files to a new account that only has LOTV.
Personally I would never buy more accounts just for that reason. If they don't want me to upload (and essentially make) more maps it's their problem. If I were you I would just wait and see how things are changed with LOTV.

Thoughts?
You will not be able to publish anything on the LotV account that needs WoL or HotS mods due to the lack of a licence for them (the editor will refuse to load the mods and probably error when you go to publish). Either that or they will include WoL and HotS liscences for free with LotV in which case you will not be able to publish any LotV mod using files on your HotS account.
Space wise they should give you some more for the extra licence, if not then you should probably complain to them.
Space really should not be an issue as I doubt anyone can fill 150MB of maps with actual map data. Asset creators should publish their assets in mods which are then linked to by maps.

Very interesting considerations. I would think that a LoTV account would be able to essentially use all assets (Since they pretty much build on one another). I suppose if there's any major unit changes from one asset to another (like different abilities for one unit), there's a chance the WoL/HoTS versions wouldn't be usable. And you're right about your old account wouldn't be able to use the new stuff, but you could always host your old files there.
Typically a map in itself doesn't take up much space for me. What takes up a lot of space is if I start importing audio files or even picture files. Speaking of which, does anyone know a good way to get the file size down on loading screens? I hate that it only accepts .dds and .tga. I usually end up using some online converter to change a .jpg and it'll increase the file size tenfold or more.
Void Campaign will still need Liberty Campaign and Swarm Campaign dependencies, so without a full license I doubt you will be able to open and publish Map/Mods that uses Void Campaign dependencies. Void Multi
may be left stand-alone license. This for what concerns the Editor license.
And as stated above, you won't be able to use your other StarCraft licenses with a stand-alone LotV account.

I'm pretty sure that you'd need to make a new battle.net account and register LotV there in order to get a doubled map space.
I'd imagine if you just add LotV to your account, then it'll replace HotS and you'll not see any increase in space.
