Anyone here played Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? If you haven't, you should. It's an awesome game.
My most recent addition (as of 07/2010) is Symphony of the Night. Alucard, the son of Dracula is the main character and one of my favorites. The quote in the middle is something he says in the game. I really like Alucard, so I wanted to make a theme off of him.
This banner went through several changes. It started out pretty simple with just a blue BG and two Alucard pictures (the same you see above). Except it only had his name in the lower right corner. The second one had the quote in it, but it was misaligned. The third one had the text as seen above, but no castle, nor moon, but it had very distracting crescent moons in the corners. Thanks to the suggestions of Chris Miller, Lethes, Stungun, and Greo (people at the Gaming Universe), I was able to make this masterpiece above, which includes the Castle image from the intro of the game and an image of the moon. I think this is one of my best banners yet.

I know most people will probably prefer the Starcraft one I made since we're all SC geeks, but... I needed a change. :P What do you think?
Anyway, I'll probably be keeping my Starcraft 2 Theme for now since it fits with the site.
Kul'thran the Troll Hunter, Serve the Hive and the Castlevania one were nearly the only ones that didn't rape my eyes with unnecessery color chaos.
Not that the others were all bad, some of them were still pretty good

Yeah, my color selection is a bit off because I have a brighter laptop monitor. However, you're the first to complain about almost all my banners in general. It wasn't until my later banners that most people complained and I had to change them. "Serve the Hive" is one of them. It had a very eye-unfriendly BG when I first made it.
BTW: Which CastleVania banner? I have two: Soma and Alucard.
Need more fractals imo . Sigs are all about the fractals. Grab some random anime character , chucks some glowing fractals behind it put a glow on the character and bam you have a sig xD.
I used to make sigs too though ! I used to like making them for some reason -_- . I made over 20 for my Warhammer online guild!

O right and the stroke effect in photoshop that's another thing you have to spam like crazy :P
