I came across the Stanford University Youtube channel. They have there lectures from their programming class(es) on there. So if your interested in starting to learn programming check it out. It's not boring professor either, the guy's a freaking comedian!
Thats the 2nd lecture. The first lecture is for when the class was going on, basically it's all just dates of midterms, finals, etc. It covers plagiarism and so on too. If your interested in that you should be able to find it easily, but basically all the core stuff starts in the link above.
I'm also watching the videos, and it's very informative.
Those of you who know programming might learn something too. :)
Rofl that video reminds me exactly of my first comp sci class here at UBC. Funny how all the universities, even here in Canada (atleast the bigger ones) are VERY similar in their content.
Our computer science department uses windows and linux/unix but no macs haha.
I never got good CS professor. Many are lame, boring, can't teach. Some are decent. But never been as spirited as that guy. No candies too. Oh actually there's one who's spirited but he's a deuchebag... He only give A if you got perfect 100% on EVERYTHING... what a deuche.
I got a lot of deuche teacher actually. There was Chemistry teacher giving my group 0 because we opened our textbooks during Lab session. We didn't know you couldn;'t open book during lab session. My english sucks Im not native english speaker. I said sorry, explaining I might miss his instruction and he said I should dropped his course if my English was bad. What a deuche. Then one female said sorry and she was forgiven. He must got a blowjob from that girl. What a deuche. Sorry Im still very mad when I think about that time. I ended up getting A- because of that on a lame super easy class...
Wait, so I can see an entire course of CS Lectures for free? Why would I need to pay for university now? :D
These are just the basic courses, basically after you watch these you'll know how to program. They have a lot more advanced programs at Stanford UV. Besides, watching these won't give you your degree!
I'm meaning useful to learn basic programming, not useful for a degree :/. There are still 2 years until I even begin a degree in this and 5-6 before I actually get it. Plenty of time to learn C++ etc.

MIT has a huge array of video lectures, lecture notes, and other course materials at http:ocw.mit.edu/courses/. Some of them are very interesting.

I know...I'm forcing myself to stop...its sooo late...I want to keep watching! AGH!
It's really basic stuff but he makes it pretty funny xD
"Yea.. you're at the random candy mercy" :D

Yeah, it's pretty funny. A plus on that is, it's easier for the class to learn that way then just a boring professor being super redundant. :(
ive to see stuff like this in university every day :'''''''''''(

I know xD. Still, would be useful :).

The reason these are free is because you don't get a degree.
