From what I've heard, warhounds are very OP and the protoss haven't been buffed significantly enough. I'm sure they'll patch it up as time goes on though :P

EDIT: And yeah, there's nothing protoss can do against an early warhound attack, seriously. This isn't the first game I watched. Only units able to actually do anything against warhounds are air, and then you have those pesky marines...
They wreck immortals, and you usually have enough marines to take down the shields ridiculously fast. Seriously, at the moment you have to hope that the terran player screws up, because if he doesn't its a guaranteed win. If the terran gets an armory and widow mines, it gets even stupider.
In all seriousness enjoy warhounds and swarm host because they're gunna nerf them so bad. Swarm hosts are at least aren't easy to use but warhounds are done for. I don't really see how this guy could make a win like that and not expect you to be pissed. I bet he tries using them against Zerg too ha ha.

Yea, they're gonna be nerfed to hell, and I hope soon. This was just a really derp move by blizzard, just like the WoL roaches. Actually, more so. They made warhounds cost 2 supply, have twice the damage of any of the other high health 2 supply units AND made them have even more health AND an ability that wrecks one and a half races. AND they made locusts stronger than hydralisks. (Hydralisk deal 12 damage every 0.86 seconds. Locusts deal 16 damage every 0.8 seconds. They have 15 health less, 3 range less, cant shoot air and are free. Roaches deal 16 damage every 2s btw.)
Yeah we just gotta keep are heads cool and remember we are in beta I guess. I'm sure they'll make plenty of changes before its release. Damn though I thought locusts were op but better than a hydra? Wtf! Too funny man.
1 sentry = 100 gas
1 archon = 250-300 gas
1 Warhound = 100 gas
Also, sentries get butchered by warhounds. And so do archons. Its the beta, warhounds are currently the definition of OP. Some form of archon/colossus/zealot ball should probably beat terran mech once the numbers on warhounds are more reasonable, but that currently isn't the case.
I thought terran was the definition of op. The easiest way to deal with swarm hosts is to make sure you have detection and get a tempest to take em out from afar while you have a line of ground units to deal with the units they spawn.
But the warhound really is strong. They should lower it's range and damage and have an upgrade for range. Don't they shoot farther than immortals?

Note: Missiles do full dmg to hardened shields.
