@AlexO6: Go That tentacle thing is called Zerus Tree Viper, it's a critter and as the name suggests will be found on Zerus. I think it may be incorporated into the swarm somwhow, unlocking an upgrade or unit evolution. The Viper's "head" is extremely similar to that Bane Creeper fan artwork in SC2 site.
Your private fistpump will go unnoticed when you play the campaign and reach the Zerus level to find that the bonus objective is to assimilate tree vipers in order to unlock a unit upgrade in ship-mode.
Would you be willing to screenshot some of the other units if possible? I really wanna see how they made the defiler and 'queen classic' (sounds like a soda...) look.
@Muspelli: Go Those are not in the beta. Only a few models aren't melee related. In fact we have only hints that the Defiler will be there, no texture or model to confirm it.

Hots Custom maps were forbidden by Blizzard.
They asked the mapmakers to take them down as they can confuse players about what HotS is and in which state it is.
The maps had to be removed before 4th September.
I'm bringing this thread back because some new stuff appeared in the beta files before they shut it down. I found one of the Mutas evolutions and it's named Viper in the unit icon, which is weird because the tail does look like the Viper's tail. Two other models are called Protoss Snake Head and Protoss Snake Segment, and you can see the head is a heavily modified Carrier, it even uses the standard carrier textures. I believe these 2 might appear in a new version of the Lost Viking mini game, maybe a new blizzard mod? The textures for the segment are called GlaiveTron.

Zurvan is the name of a Primal Zerg (Old Zerus Zerg) unit.

Mengsk units? No idea, probably they're like the Mercs in SCII.
The rest, I don't know. Hybrid Cannon is probably a Hybrid defense structure. Scourge Cannon...A Cannon that fire scourges? I don't know.
So a Primal Zerg that can "submerge"... interesting, I hope the campaign allows for water pathing.

Not submerge in the water sense, but like the Night Elf buildings from WC3 and the Zerg defenses in WoL.

Fair enough, saw some campaign models, so I figured I'd ask.
How come the hots custom map hasn't been updated? I want a movable mothership core.

For the planet loadng screen braxis is also spotted its smiler to the photo they have on wikkia but now its more uhh snow
the texture is snow and dust also their is a very clear ''teal'' water

Yeah. The Protoss Snake was a completed unit in the beta client. The head with a tail of 6 or so segments.
I never actually tried to use it in-game, but I clicked a few down on one of my test maps.
