So I've invested many, many hours into this particular map. Now, whenever I open the map it says 'Unable to open archive (Files are missing from your StarCraft II installation.): /Applications/Tom/Temple Run.SC2Map' Any help with this guys?
- Is there a backup copy? (sc2 creates a backup during the saving process which is deleted on successful saving)
- Is the file size normal for your map or way to low?
- Is the map openable with mpq editors to rescue the information stored inside the map?
- Is the editor you try to open the map with the default editor (and not accidentally the arcade beta editor)?
- Tried opening the map with an old editor in case you got any older editor on any computer/laptop around? Opening a map with a 1.4.2 editor "fixed" my map a few times already during arcade beta. (I edited my map with an mpq editor and then I couldn't open it anymore. Map files seemed to be protected against that in the editor.)
There is a backup copy from waaaaay back, but alas, most of the map is missing.
The file size is 0KB now, and it seems that the constituent parts of it have been extracted into a separate file.
Attached are some screenshots for your inspection.
Editor is default editor.

In your OP you say 'now', but when exactly did this start to happen? Maybe try to list all changed you made to your PC in the past week or so?

Open the "ComponentList.SC2Components". See if that works.
@Mozared: Go
The only thing I've changed recently was updating SC2 to the latest patch :/
@TheAlmaity: Go
Opened it, just loads up a default blank map. Anything you guys think might be worth trying?
@madlibrarian: Go
Open the component list with notepad, and check whether it looks something like this:
make sure that each of the referenced things exist as well
@TheAlmaity: Go
All there and sound - mine says 'Locale="enGB" as the only difference
I don't think this is it, but you do know that if 'the latest patch' meant patch 1.5 your mod files got deleted, right?
@Mozared: Go
Yeah, thing is I've had the map run fine after 1.5, but it's only changed to this unviewable state in the last day or two?
Make sure it isnt this bug

still nothing :(
Try sending your map to someone to see if he can open it?
@Mozared: Go
My brother just tried opening it on his computer - sent him over all the files - still absolutely nothing. Not entirely sure what else I can do?
