Hi :) I was wondering if there was anyway possible to hide foliage. I realize i could create a unit or doodad that looks like foliage and show and hide it around my map but i already attempted this with units. On my good computer there was no lag but when i brought it over to my laptop it lagged like crazy and i would really like to aviod lag as much as possible on all computers. So before I try to attempt this again with the use of doodads instead of units i would like to see if there was any way possible way to hide foliage.

I think you can use actors instead of units, sending them the actor event "set opacity".
Considering you probably want to fade the foliage only for the unit's allies (I suppose League of Legends style) you have to read this tutorial

Just remove the foliage and add it last, once the rest of your map is done?
