can u play on one map then warp to another 1 like walk in to a portal an warp to another map i dont mean like a campaign ether
can it be done to play over lan or battle.net
i just dont know how to say it right sry
no!!!! i mean not after finshing the map durring the map like if you got many warps on map like dungeons as you go
and then after the dungeon is done you go back to where you was in the first map
Actually Wait for 1.5 There is a 1%chance that it can be done now, but it might have a maximum of 2 maps, Using the Tutorial map as one of those, thats the only way I see it as even possible.

That's the function? Hit "Set Next Map", save everything you want to be carried over/saved in the current map in banks or whatever, then do whatever needs to be done to start the next map (Maybe ending game in Victory would work). Never used these functions, but seeing as the "end" of a map is always under the modders control, you can end it at any time and start the next map (Btw, I'm fairly certain you can't keep the state of the previous map sort of "paused" in memory - If you change maps, they stat at their initial state, always. You'll have to use something like banks to save important info and use that during initialization to set everything up as it needs to be)
Well here some food for thought ; I was looking about in the beta editor and seeing as you can attach a "tutorial" map as part of your map file, it might just be possible (no guarantees tho). I mean the issue before was that the trigger would have to search to bnet to find the map but if the "attach tutorial" is actually part of it then that opens some doors.
It doesnt work in mutliplayer because all maps that can be played by users have to be downloaded prior to playing.
That means for example if you want to make a teleport from map A to map B you would have to upload both as some sort of "map pack" (We dont have this feature) to ensure that all users have map B when entering the teleporter in map A. Currently its just impossible to ensure that all players have map B, thats why Blizzard cant even theoretically enable this feature in multiplayer.
In theory it would be possible to enable this feature in multiplayer if Blizzard would add support for smth like map packs, but i didnt hear anything about that yet.
Like already stated you would also have to make sure to carry all necessary data over by bank files, depending on how much data you need this can get a pretty complex process.
It would be a very interresting and useful feature, though. :)

Ha... Ha ha... Ha...
Sorry, to answer your question: The trigger actions exist. They won't work online/in multiplayer. Singe player (via editor) is fine.
Yeah blizzard added the option to piss us off and taunt us... lol Trollzard
what would that be called any ways
@wufani: Go They are talking about this function.

The best thing to do here is to flame Blizzard
